October crowds?

I was wondering how crowded it get at the parks as it gets closer to Halloween. We'll be there the last week in October and I don't know what to expect. I'm guessing that Friday night will be crowded with kids, but wasn't sure about earlier in the week.

this makes the 4th consecutive year I have gone to DL within the last 8 days or so of the month of Oct. and every year it gets increasingly busier so I say expect the worst and hope for the best....all Im hoping is that this year its not as hot as last year

We went in October 2007 and it was crowded enough that I don't ever want to go back in October. Mid week was tolerable, but the weekend was a nightmare.

We were in the LA area last year between Oct 22nd and 28th. We hit the Trick or Treat Party at DCA on Thursday night and didn't at all think it was crowded. Busy, yes. Then we hit DL on Saturday and although it too was busy, most of our rides were less than a 15 - 20 minute wait. Not crowded in my opinion.

We will be there to in the middle of October and were hoping the crowds wouldn't be to horrendous. We have only gone in February and November with both being no waits. Can't wait even if it is busier. Disney here we come.
