October Crowds

Changed our vacation to the last week of Oct. Haven't been at that time of year since 1996. What are crowds like? weather, lines etc? Thanks!

Hi there! We will be there Oct 28-Nov 4 this year. We were there last year mid October and I must admit, it was a bit more crowded than I expected. I think the F&W Fest, plus many northern states have "fall break" in Oct...so there were some crowds. NOTHING like summer or Christmas time, though. If it was that bad, we would not go again this year at the same time.

If you get a chance, go to Party For The Senses on Sat nights during the F&W Fest at Epcot...WOW...it was awesome, I can't wait to go again!

we went last October and in April, the crowds were worse in my opinion in April. We are planning to go again in October. In NJ teachers convention is in November so alot of people go then. It is usualy the first weekend in November.

We were there the last 2 years for the end of Oct. and MNSSHP.

Weather in '04 was awesome, high 70's-low 80's no rain and moderate crowds.
Never longer than 20 minute waits.

In '05 weather was cool, mid to high 60's no rain and same crowds.

Definitely make your ADR's though, because they were certainly still necessary.
