October Check in - Halloween and more

One of my local friends said she's working on a pirate outfit for me, so one night I'll hopefully be a pirate. I couldn't sew if my life depended on it, but she's pretty good at it.

Then the second night I have a pair of really cool pink blinking bunny ears that I got at my last convention, so I'll probably the the White Rabbit's niece.

For the third night we'll see... maybe a pin trader seeing how fascinated the princesses were when they spotted my Halloween pins last year.

Hey everybody my trip has been booked i will be staying at the Candy Cane Inn Oct 19-25!!! First ever trip to DL and it's my b-day Oct 20th!!!!! Can't Wait!!!

I want to dress up but I don't know what to be yet. I'm considering doing what I wanted to do a couple years ago and just making DBF and I Mickey Mouse Club Tshirts and wearing Mickey ears.

I do the same thing with the t-shirts, but DH and I will be wearing MNSSHP shirts we got about 3 years ago when we went to WDW.

My girls (14 and 12) I guess we will have to see. They have all grown out of their princess outfits. Not that they would interested in them.

I don't think DH or I will dress up, I may get some cheezy Halloween jewelry to wear but that'll be it. My eldest is going to be going as Woody and we aren't sure for the youngest yet

TheZue..that's a good idea.. i like that! I'll have to keep that in mind.

I think I am going to bring a little bag with non candy halloween favors in them to give to kids in the group i'm going with. Like some of the plastic spiders or bugs.. something cute for them to play with in line. I need to check the dollar store.

Oh I wish it was that easy! Hannah Montana and Miley are old hat in my house. Not into the Jonah's brothers either. I am going to have to start thinking about custumes and get some input from them. Well at least I have time.

I think so fairykin, I think the rules are just that it must look fake and not look real. I can make it look fake I'm sure. This is still in thought process tho, my girls aren't home from visiting their sister yet so we haven't talked about it, they don't even know I booked the trip.

I wanted to do this too! But I was thinking of making more ours look like the original outfits for the Mouseketeers (think Annette Funicello) with the pleated blue polyester skirt and blue polyester pants for DH! (I'm just not sure he would go for it! )

I was going to ask if many adults dressed up too or should I just stick with a Villains/MNSSHP t-shirt can't really pack a costume but I do have a cpl of capes that are fun to wear!!!

Plus I am reallllllllly trying to get my best friend to come with me. I'm willing to foot the bill for her to come!!! I missed out on her 1st visit to WDW because I had to go to a work WDW/DCL trip (hard i know lol) a month before she went for her first time. I really want to experience DL my first time with my best friend!!!!

Last time I tried there was more blood on the cloth than I had managed to put stitches it. What can I say.... I am a completely lost cause there.

We finally did it......booked our first ever trip to DL. We will be there Oct. 20-24th. We are so excited. My DD10 saw pictures of the DLR and she is thrilled to be staying there. Now we just have to come up with a family theme for our Halloween costumes.

Should be 4 PM your time, but maybe 5 PM as it's a weekend.

But you can order online too on the Disneyland website, maybe that's an option? Last year the tickets went on there much earlier than the phone lines opened, some time in the morning German time.

Thanks Vala - I'll checxk out the website tomorrow lunchtime and see if there's anything on there by then! The ToT tickets are the final bit of 'organising' I need to do. My flights, car and all the hotels are booked along with NFL tickets for San Diego and San Francisco....these tickets are what I've been waiting for!!!!

I hear you, was the same for me last year (minus NFL).

I was very glad that I got an AP last year and got a headstart on TOT this year. I got so excited about Halloween, I must have annoyed the hell out of my friends.
