I think the first dates sold out some time in September last year. The weekends are always popular, and then the days during the Utah Fall Break.

You should be okay with the 29th for a while as it's Thursday. But I wouldn't risk buying on the day seeing it is a date rather close to Halloween.

Thanks everso much for the heads up Vala ....just been on the website and got my e-tickets for the 30th October.......so we're going! Whooo hoooo!!!!!! :yay::woohoo::banana::cool1:

Glad it worked for you. I'm there on the 30th too with a bunch of my friends.

Hey I have an idea for my DD(14) costume and she might go for it, too! We have horses...so why not have she dress as a cowgirl! She really wont have to wear something she is not used to wearing anyway. And it won't cost much to to mak., She already has the boots with spurs, hat and jeans.

Now for the 12 year old...

Please add the Rauchbauer Family for Oct 20 - 24 and ToT on Wednesday.

Okay so I am being lazy I am sure this question has been asked and answered many times, but I can't seem to find the information anywhere. I noticed that some people are talking about Woodly's Round-up. When is that and is it? how can I find out more information on the Round up?

Thanks in Advance.

We will be there October 15-18th, staying at the Grand Californian Villas and doing the Halloween party on October 15. This will be our first stay at the Villas, and we are so excited!:yay:

Hey kkbeaton2 we will be at the VGC later in the month. Got a one bedroom for Oct 28 to the 39th. Will you let us know how your room was and where it was located? I am curious what rooms people will stay in.

We have a studio booked for that trip, but we have (so far) 6 trips booked for the Villas. Right now only studios and 1 bedrooms booked, but it should be great! I'm really looking forward to it there!:goodvibes

Wow 6 trips! lucky you! Were the studios hard to get? I had no trouble booking my Oct. trip. I was quite surprised.

I haven't had any problem at all with any of them. I have 1 in October, 2 in December, 1 in January and 2 in February. I don't own there, so I can only do 7 months out, but I haven't had a problem with any of them, got the ones I wanted, when I wanted!

As you can see, I don't own there either. I do wish I could (victim of the economy). I am asking around cuz I am wondering when it will be hard to book at the 7th month window. My guess is that the VGC are not selling as great as I thought they would. That gives us non-owners a chance to book.

Hi last post I saw they werent selling as many as they liked we were able to get into VGC easy for Oct and May .

We are so excited I think the kids are going to be pirates for the Halloween party on the 16 - they are easy and comfortable because we know they will fall asleep before the night is over so the costume has to be night night wear too.

So JoRo, are you planning to go to the opening on Sept 23?
I am lucky that my guide is here in California. She keeps my in touch with what's going on. I so want to go, I not an owner YET. (I just won't give up my dream.)

I, too, want to own at VGC, but we decided that 800 points is enough for now, maybe we will be able to add more later! Oh, to be independently wealthy... wouldn't that be great?

Ahhh...independently wealthy. The things I would do.

GCH is my DH's and my favorite hotel. It would fit in to our traveling habits to own there. We would go at least two to three times a year. Plus, I have family in Orange County. I am always day dreaming about inviting them over to dinner at the VGC. So I keep hoping. Things will be better next year.

800 points! Yes I would stop at that.

Hi! I don't own there either. I will be there on Oct. 9-17. I had booked a studio but was able to change my reservation last week to a 1 bedroom.

Wow! How great you were able to change so quickly. I guess it may easy to book except the very very busy days like at Christmas. I called in just to book at the hotel, but was told that the villas were opening sooner than I originally thought. I was so happy that I decided to stay three days instead of two and book a one bedroom instead of a studio. My kids are off for one week in Oct. In fact, that would be a normal time for us to visit, even when the kids grow up. DH loves the Halloween decor and HMH.

I wonder how difficult it will be when it is sold out. Looks like I will have some time to find out, since VGH isn't selling like it should.

Our TOT tickets came in the mail today! Now I am pumped!!

We'll be at Paradise Pier concierge October 30 & 31 and already have our tickets for Mickeys Not So Scary.....for Halloween. :woohoo::woohoo:

Forgive my ignorance but is ToT the abbreviation for Tower of Terror and why do you need advance tickets? Is something special going on during the Halloween season?

Thanks in advance.
