October Check in - Halloween and more

Thought I would join in the fun! We are booked at the BWPPI from the 22nd through the 25th. There are 6 of us (3 adults and 3 kids 5 and under - 2 families). We are planning on the TOT party on the 23rd. We are keeping the plans a secret from the kids which is really hard to do (we don't plan to tell them until we get on the plane). The 2 oldest girls will be starting kindergarten this year so we are doing this as a mini celebration for them. This will actually be our second Disney trip this year as we did a Disney cruise in May. Can't wait to get back to Disneyland, and especially see all the wonderful Halloween decorations!

We haven't told ours either...plan on driving right up to the hotel without saying anything NOw the hard part, cross the border without the border guard blowing it.

We are Disneyland bound Oct 17th-24th...This will be our third consecutive year and our second participating in the CHOC walk! Really enjoyed it last year so it was only fitting to do it again this year... Staying at the DGC-DVC.

We have started to get things organized even though its 80 plus days out...I actually have started a list of what clothes to bring!

We plan on attending the Halloween party again this year...last year we came home with about 20 lbs of candy...and still have some of the hard candy too! That plane ride was interesting...baggage screeners probably went through it!

Any suggestions from anyone out there who are DL veterans on places to walk to to eat, besides DTD? We will not have a car and wondered about the shopping area along Disneyland Drive...

We'll be back for our second Disneyland visit - checking into BWPPI on the 15th, checking out ( sadly) on the 17th.

Just a quick visit this time at the end of our big road trip around MT,WY,CO and UT.

We're going in October too! 10/13-10/18, celebrating hubby's 40th birthday on the 14th with dinner at the Blue Bayou. And we'll be going to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party on the 16th! Going with SIXTEEN family members...should be a great time!

Just read your post. Seems that we are heading to DL on the same dates. We are staying at the Hojo. Are you flying? If so, out of DIA? We are from Nebraska and the closest airport is DIA for us. We are flying Frontier on the 6pm flight to LAX. Any chance you are going on the same flight?
We will have slightly fewer people than you, 14. You'll have a great time.
Will you be sporting a LGMH? We'll have one on our backpack. It would be fun to make a DL connection. I did last year with a couple of DISers because of our LGMHs.

My DS9 and I will be there October 11 - 15. Unfortunately there is no TOT party scheduled those days as we leave early morning on the 15th. I am excited about the halloween decorations and the overlay for Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion. We will be staying at either BWPPI or PP.

We've finalized our trip now and will be staying at the HoJo from 29th October to the 1st November and hopefully doing the ToT party on the 30th October. My DD will be just 9 and loves all things halloween so we can't wait!!!

So... are those of you who are going to TOT events.. going to dress up?

I want to dress up but I don't know what to be yet. I'm considering doing what I wanted to do a couple years ago and just making DBF and I Mickey Mouse Club Tshirts and wearing Mickey ears. The girls will probably be a little more detailed, DD13 wants to be Constance (bride from HM) so I'm thinking a wedding gown costume with an axe. DD9 hasn't decided yet. I just realized that the kids are out of school that next Monday so we may extend our weekend.......
