We made the reservations so far in advance because we're taking advantage of the Entertainment Rate dates, and I wanted to be sure to get them. They won't actually charge us until we're there though, so that's good! I think they did take a credit card # since there is a 48-hour (I think) cancellation policy. But they don't charge the card until you check out.

Thanks so much. Yeah, I also want to book in advance to get the Entertainment Rate...but they don't have any Saturday nights available for that rate. :/

They usually announce the dates mid May.....so hopefully we'll know in about 3 weeks or so! I'm waiting for the dates too. We're so excited to be doing the party this year!.....It will be myself and DS 14, so we definitely haven't outgrown it yet....LOL I think your daughter will love it. I just noticed where you live.....We don't live too far away from each other.

We'll be there Oct 24-29 celebrating all of our birthdays. Mine is Oct 28th, DD's 9th b-day is Nov 3, and DH's b-day is Nov 5th. We'll be staying at HoJos. No real plans as of yet other than I want to eat at Blue Bayou on my actual bday.

OK guys booked my flight with Jetblue tonight, we leave on the 20 to the 28th...got a great deal for 796 american for 5 of us me and wife and 3 kids.

Staying in the howard johnson, and I'm leaning towards renting a car for 228 us for the whole time(think that is a good deal) looking at getting that deal for one day at seaworld and 1 day at universal...

Still thinking of doing a 7 day pass for disneyland since we can go there after returning from universal or san diego.

Plus, our flight does not leave unitl 630 pm so we could go to the park for a bit on the 28th....till like 2 or somethin

Anyone know if military still gets in free to seaworld?

We'll be at DLR from the 26th-31st of October before heading off to do a tour of the Grand Canyon, LV, Death Valley, Yosemite and San Francisco - heading home to the UK on 13th November!!!

Does anyone know the dates for the Halloween Party at California Adventure please? We went to the MNSSHP at WDW a couple of years ago and enjoyed it (well until it started raining anyway! ) and would really like to try out the DLR version.

We're planning on October 23-25, possibly extending on either side. But we have to be there those days at least since the family reunion is the 24th!

They should be out soon, last year the AP holders could buy tickets around the middle of May.

I was at the parties from October 29 to 31 last year, so I am guessing they might do October 28 to 31 this year because the 31st is a Saturday.

....tickets they said will go on sale for AP and Disney Visa card members on May 15th!!!! I asked about date info and they said Oct 2, 8 & 9, 15 & 16 and that was as far as we got 'cause those were the dates I had asked for!!! I hope that halps ya'll some! Just 2 more weeks and I can get my mits on thsoe tickets!!! Oh also they did the fine print to fyi...."Subject to change!!" Happy Planning!
