It's booked! Oct. 9 -13 Fairfield Inn... Mommy and daughter only trip!! I told my daughter I'd take her to Disney if she stopped sucking her thumb. Can't believe that she did it so quickly! My first "fall" trip to Disneyland!

So I am sitting here, listening to the Nightmare Before Christmas and thinking of my trip in October. So how is everyone coping with the excitement? Some of us have less than a month to go. I think I will drive my DD11 and DD14 crazy with playing the Nightmare CD over and over again.

After Labor Day, I start to decorate the house with fall leaves and such. Then it will really feel like the Fall! All this just will get me more excited to get to DLR on Oct 28. Did I have to book at the end of Oct?
I think I will go and make Caramel Popcorn balls.....

We do not have costumes yet! We haven't even told the kids we are going yet. We are coming from Omaha so we may just dress the kids in costumes. I don't really want to have to pack 10 suitcases!

LOL I am so excited I can hardly stand myself. I have so many other things I should be doing, but I find myself checking the DISboard daily for any new information. I am looking forward to time alone with DH...well, if you can call being at DL alone.

Good luck with that! I do have to confess... DH and I do have a one night reservation on Sept 23. for that kind of thing. We will be there for the opening of the VGC. We will not planning a lot of time in the parks. The point (other than the other one) is to enjoy the new Villas and be apart of the excitement. And Halloween Time will start two days until after the 23rd. Won't be the same as the trip in Oct. That one is special on it's own with the kids and all the decor and festivities. And, of course, is a longer trip.
