We are going to be there Oct 22 -25th. Got my ressies for dining yesterday. Yeah. Trick or treat on 23rd. So far we are staying at the Hilton Suites in Orange, but hoping that better deals open up closer to DL.

That's great and a wonderful suprise for him! My girls (wife and 2 daughters) all have summer b-days so we weren't able to take advantage of the free b-day thing for them - just too crowded and hot.

As a coincidence though my older DD turns 13 this Friday - say goodbye to the "tweens"

DW's birthday is December 26 so we'll probably never spend hers at DLR or WDW. DS's just happens to fall on a Sunday this year. We'd probably be less likely to take him out of school for a mid-week birthday.

We've been having fun with keeping the surprise a secret so far. He said he wants to go to California Pizza Kitchen for his birthday because good things always happen when he plans that. He's going to go nuts when he realizes just how good. We were also talking about pressed pennies and saying "if we ever go back to Disneyland..." We're pretty confident that he's completely in the dark.

I absolutely love that picture!! Makes me feel that our trip is around the corner and so festive. Of course, I already feel like it is fall cuz my kids are in school already. Time for pumpkins, fall leaves, caramel popcorn balls and our trip to Disneyland. I can't wait to see DLR in the Halloween decor.

Hi! I'm new to this board (but not Disney) and we're going for our first time for Halloween time and my sons 6th birthday. It's a suprise for him!!! We're leaving Oct 20, and will be in the parks Oct 21-24 and doing TOT on Oct 22. We're staying at the Red Lion Anaheim

So it turns out...we're doing what we think will be One Last Trip on the APs, with no renewal on the horizon, for my birthday.

GCH (on DVC points, no way we could afford it otherwise!) from the 10th to the 13th. No plans for the TorT party (have to write it that way or I keep thinking there's a party at Tower of Terror), but it will probably be good to find out when the parties are and if they will change our DCA visiting!


OK, totally cracking up at what the boards did to Boo Bear's name when it's scrunched together.

I still have to phone Rainforest Cafe. I made the Blue Bayou PS for first seating so we can get waterside. So excited!

I've pretty much got all the details hammered down, although I'm still vacillating on whether to do the F! buffet or not. I'm leaning towards not, but you never know. I'm so excited! I've been planning this trip for a year now, and I can't believe it's almost here!

Yay, just made a bunch of PS ressies for various meals for our trip. I'm so with you on the excitement. It starts beginning to feel so close when you can start calling, doesn't it?

We're doing Goofy's for lunch and for dinner, the Minnie breakfast (what can I say, everyone deserves a second chance ), Cafe Orleans for lunch, Ariel's Grotto for lunch, Storytellers for breakfast, Lilo & Stitch for breakfast and we will be taking the Kitchen Sink Sundae at PCH Grill one night for dinner.

We wanted to do the barbecue too, but without the characters we decided to leave that one. I may be reserving for Carnation Cafe though, we'll see.

One Goofy's PS and Cafe Orleans are booked, the next round will follow Monday or Tuesday. I also need to call for the Bibbedi Boppedi Boutique and Fantasmic, but those windows aren't open yet.

We definitely are doing the Fantasmic special seating again for one show. We can only come over once a year, so this is our special treat.
