No, I have used the US Airways code many times even though I wasn't flying with them. Sometimes I have even stacked codes. National was good for this.

As the pp stated it does not matter. The SW code is for everyone. You can enter the code on the Dollar website and it tells you a bit more...
Here is what it says:

If you wanted an SUV - there is a drop in rates at Alamo...I found a standard SUV (Chevy Trailblazer) for $267.45/total for your dates. I used ID 430710, rate code BY and coupon D24C (make sure you print it from their website to get the discount). It's only $20 cheaper...but I wasn't sure if you wanted the SUV or minivan. Minivans on Alamo for your dates are still around $336/total.

Sorry, not enough details. We will be driving from North Carolina to Orlando. My husband drives a dually and my car is just to small so we were looking to rent one for the week. Well it will be more like 10 days. Leave Friday Night Oct 27 and will return Sunday Nov 6, but I was thinking I need to renturn the car on Monday so we are not rushed.

Have you checked codes on www.mousesavers.com? They have them for almost all rental car companies...

I seem to remember a great code for Hertz not to long ago...I will search and see if it is still valid. It gave me a great price on a full size, but DH wants an SUV while we are there....so I canceled it.

I'll let you know what I find...

I found the post I was talking about for Hertz, and the rate was only good in Florida - now it is for somewhere in Texas...

I tried Budget...not very familiar with their website. They are giving me an airport location in Pitts County - is that right???

I used a BCD code of U023812 and it gave me a Full Sized car (Toyota Camry) for $383.88/total for your dates (10/27-11/6). Or the intermediate is $318.00/total for a Toyota Corolla. An SUV is going to run you $596.28/total

The prices don't seem to be changing no matter how many different codes I try...
