October BLT...chances?

Why not go with OKW? Do you have enough points for a one bedroom at OKW?

Excellent question We were doing okw when my folks were joining us..but now that it is just us, I really want to stay at BLT.
Yes we have enough for a 1br at okw..Honestly, for us though, I'd rather spend the 104 points on a studio and then have 78 points for another quickie trip next year

I also wanted to avoid renting a car to save money and if we stay at BLT we will have the great location to MK with our little kids. My husband really hates disney transportation and if I stay at OKW we'd need a car. I want to stay there for our next trip. We are thinking right before school starts in 2012.

Call back today and get another CM if you would be willing to accept those dates. What you were told is not correct. As long as the 11th (well, today it would be the 13th) is available you can set up a waitlist for up to 7 days. It must be a single waitlist for all the days though. Someone else recently was told what you were but when they called back it was determined they could waitlist. It follows the same premise that if all the days had been available you could have booked the 11th-18th so a waitlist filling for the 11th-18th is not changing any booking rules.

I hope you are able to get what you want! Are you willing to do a split stay? I just changed 2 nights of my October trip to a BLT lake view 1 bedroom. Everytime I call and check there is never anything at BLT for my dates. But I called yesterday on a whim and was able to get the last 2 nights at BLT. Btw, to book BLT I cancelled 3 nights at BWV in a standard 1 bedroom so hopefully that made someone happy!

I am sooo excited to try out BLT even if it is only for 2 nights

So I called and they had the whole week except for the 15th...as she was looking for somewhere else for me, the 15th popped up as available!!!! I am so excited I can't even stand it

You just never know. I ended up cancelling my BLT studio just today for the 15th and 16th of October because my DH is now coming on our summer trip so we have decided not to still go in October.

Just keep calling to check things out!

Hope the studio for the 16th is still available on Wednesday! I need it!!

Changed my dates by one day..now we are the 15th-22nd..this way the kids will miss less school.
