October AK hours extended!!!

Just saw on MDE hours have been updated. AK now open until 8:30 pm all month. Maybe rivers of light is on the horizon as the rumors are indicating?

Yay!! So glad hours were extended. We are hopping after Epcot to experience AK at night and I was bummed with earlier hours

I don't want to get my hopes too high for Rivers of Light, but if AK is open till 8:30, I think they will show the Tree Awakening at least.

Same here. I'm not eorried about rivers of light but the awakening was what I really wanted to see

What date are you seeing SW showing AFTER Fantasmic. On My Disney Experience for the first week of October, I'm seeing Fantasmic at 8:00 and SW at 7:30 or 7:45.

Oh, man, this is my new favorite thread! I was getting grouchy about not being able to lock down a schedule for our trip, but between seeing AK with later hours and times for Star Wars, I'm getting happy again.

The Jungle Book show ends on Monday. I was thinking that we'd see some movement on the scheduling after that. Very pleased to see it tonight.

I think AK is one of Disney's most beautifully themed parks at any time of the day, but it's such a treat to see it at nighttime. Have a really great time!

They just about half to do something at MK on the 9th, don't they. The crowds for the last MSEP are going to be insane. They need to lengthen the hours to help disperse the post parade crowd a bit.

Yay! This makes me happy. We are sleeping in on our AK day so we now have plenty of time to see the whole park. Hoping to see ROL too. In past trips we have found AK to be practically empty the last hour open. My kids love to ride EE over and over (their record is 8 times in one day!) With the new nighttime events I'm wondering if the lines will be longer. May have to prepare the kids that they may not beat last trips EE record!

What are all of AK nighttime events? If ROL is not open when we go on Oct. 14th what are the other events?
I know about tree awakening. How long is that? What else is there?
