October 7, 2006 Western "Latitude Adjustment Cruise"

Allen we did not recieve our wristbans :sad2: very very sad here in South Jersey.

Busy looking at Modular Homes, my neighbor got one and I'm very impressed.
Very exciting watching them lift it over the telephone wires with a crane. My DD just got an estimate on a 1824 sqft house complete with basement and a lot of extras $188K Now all they have to do is find some land. A lot cheaper than trying to buy a home on the market, and new is always better than used (lived in). Since we are excited to baby sit we're thinking of buying one next to them, but I think a little smaller. I really had no idea what a basement cost, I thought $7500 that was a fantasy the quote is for $26,425 quite a difference, it's funny how prices go way up when you haven't looked in years. Pretty scary for young people just starting out. We certainly don't want a mortage at our age. Don't want to hit the retirement fund, want every penny there, the market has been doing grrrrreattttt. As Tony would say. Since October it's been scary how very very well we've done Hope it keeps up for another year. We all know what goes up must come down. I don't want to live through another down turn, so I'll watch closely and get out, not be greedy.

Sorry to hear you had to cancel your cruise Liz. Hopefully all will go well with your family. Know what it's like to have things go off kilter.

Not to fear, I am fairly confident that I did mail yours. Give it through Saturday anyway. :thumbsup2 I mailed them in 4x7 padded envelopes, so they might move a little slow. If I missed someone, :confused3 I think it might have been Sharon (twinmom108). We are under 150 days!!! :woohoo: Couple of months, we can start making ressies!!

Hello haven't checked in with you guys in a while. I sure do wish we were crusing in a few days instead of a few months. I NEED A VACATION!

Well, we are very much looking forward to the cruise and the Disney experience. Looking forward to meeting you good folks.

Hopefully our gang will grow even larger as the date draws nearer.

I stand by my previous statement, I will fire when fired upon. :teeth: Remember who recovered your pictures when your camera died on the Wonder last year??? :stir:

Thanks ALLEN the wristbands arrived over the weekend  . Now it seems official, that we're going. The 9/30 cruises have scheduled a high Tea for all the ladies, thought this was a great idea. I brought up the idea about wristbands so guess who got nominated? Rain, rain and more rain. But we won't comlain because the poor people further east are getting hit badly, I hope noone here.

Did I see that someone was from the great Northwest. I'd like to get and idea of how the weather is doing in Alaska and what to expect when we go 7/01 out of Seattle. :cool1:

We got some sunshine yesterday too!!! :sunny: Our TA called and said that our Cruise Planning Kit had arrived!!! :cool1: DD12 cannot wait another minute!!!

hey everyone!!! It seems like forever since I've been online. My family all got the cruise planning kit this week. I never got this when my dh and I went on the cruise last year. I guess it got lost. My sister read through the whole thing that night. Then had to re-read to my niece and nephew the next day. This cruise is all my niece and nephew are talking about. They are so excited!!!

Has anyone looked at the website that can't be named here lately? When did DCL change the look of the navigators? We went last sept and they were totally different looking. I like the new ones better. The website has the navigators from the May 6th cruise if anyone is interested.

I found our reservation number in our Cruise planning kit & checked out the website. We're set for 8:30 seating. DW thinks that will be o.k. I'm not sure!!! Now all I need to do is part with the balance of the $$ to be paid in full!

Phil

With all the cruise planning kits coming in, it's starting to look and feel real. Still 142 days to go, but it will go quick. I think the mystery of the missing wristbands has been solved. Got an email from Maureen (pit303) that they never recieved their's. So that must be it. Just in case though, one more time.... If you don't live in Wilson County, Tennessee and have not recieved your wristbands, please let me know. If I don't hear from you, :listen: I will assume you got them. I'm sure some of you think I'm running this in the ground, but I don't want anyone to be upset because I missed them. :thumbsup2
142 days to go!

That so close they won't care!

DH and I also have the 8:30 seating.

General ??? What is the earlist that anyone has booked their flight home after the cruise? I called Disney and they said they recommend 12:30 PM has anyone booked earlier?

We've not flown home after the cruise before this time so we are interested in this answer, too....... :confused3

Jamie (who may be flying, or driving by herself :moped: because she hates to fly)

The earliest flight we've had was 12:20 pm on 4/22 we got off the ship in the first wave at 7:30 and we were seated outside of the Disney store in MCO by 9:20AM The line getting thru security was huge so we got in line at 10:30 and still got thru in 40 minutes. That was everything going smoothly, don't think I'd take a chance on going earlier, but saying that the security was constantly coming out and asking if anyone had an early flight and they were taking people up to the front of the line.
