We tried to get the lime green shirts and they are sold out except for XL Hmmm. Wonder why. So we went multi colored...aqua for DD and a white adult and the one lime green. Disney has some cute stuff on sale right now.

Well, I am so glad we got ours a while ago then...We will forgive you for not having lime green....no prob! Just glad for all of us to be going! The pic on the shirt is the same anyway..DD liked the aqua one- so we got her that one too.

Hey- but we can all have our buttons tho!! Can't sell those out !

Right now I am leaning towards wearing my Lime Green Salty Dog Cafe shirt, DH also in a Salty Dog shirt, and the kid wearing their Disney Vacation Club Hilton Head Island Shadow tee shirts. Both are Labs, bot from Hilton head Island... matching, but not matching kinda sort of...

Or something completly different

When mine were teens, if I didn't do something to embarass them at least occasionally, I figured I wasn't being a good parent.

So, is everyone doing the lime green shirts. I hadn't planned on it. I just thought we would get the buttons, but I don't want us to be the only odd balls.

BTW is everyone just ordering the button they like best? If so has anyone orderd them yet. How long will it take to get them in?

I dont think everyone is wearing lime green... Just a a lot of people it seems... BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A BUTTON!!!! At least ONE button if not MORE And wear them for embarkation! That way we have a pre meet for those of us who arrive early.

ANd yes everyone should just order the buttons they like best.. I suggest the black/white and green buttons as we all know what they look like....

Unless we want a vote.

Now this sounds right up my alley!! Don't like to drink drinks that have the taste of alcohol in them..yeah stupid I know! Most people drink for that taste!

And I have no idea if I will be able to do straight shots of tequilla... the thought of it, while not a wet ashtray, is still not really "up there"

no, no, i'm not ready. i'm still trying to match things up. i'm gaining on the dress for dinning , that's my problem. don't be surprised if i wear the same thing twice, tho. what u see is what u get. nothing fancy, can't wait for the marguarita tasting. i love those things, but don't induldge much. never had much variety either. i need just a little more time. then i'll call it done. will be happy just to see the time is gone, and there is nothing left to figure out

Packing???!!! We are still shopping! DM is just beside herself trying to find 'nice' clothes..I still need to get DS clothes..I gave him money and said go get some stuff and he came back with 4-tshirts and 2 pair of jeans!!!
Not exactly my idea of shopping..but his idea of school clothes. Now how am I going to get him in a collared shirt and dockers? He is set for formal night. He is in NJROTC at school and we decided he'd just wear his uniform..he looks good in it...

Wet Ashtray?? How do you know what a wet ashtray TASTES like? hmmmm **EVER SMELLED ONE!!** that is exactly what it tastes like. Ex put out a cigarette in a glass of water i had by the bed..middle of the night..I took a drink...let's just say the sink wasn't even close enough!!

Personally never had rum. Do they have a rum tasting onboard? Hey- can we take our own drinks in the tasting to throw those shots into? You know mix our own if we don't like to have it straight?

Hi all, sorry for not writing much.. So busy lately don't have time to drop by!!

I finally received that DVD for the cruise, not bad it took so long to come in,
Thank god I didn't wait for it to book !! LOL

Now I have a question after watching the DVD. I hadn't intended on going to Palo's for dinner, but after watching the DVD, it certainly looks interesting, now my question is this, since its an adult restaurant, what do I do with the kids at night.. ??

Anyhow thats what pop in my head..

Looking forward to leaving..

Hi Mad! Happy to see you drop in

We have a 7pm Palo reservation and our plan is to drop the kids off that night at the kids clubs for their special dinner (the clubs take them up to Topsiders for dinner) They are very excited about it.

We thought about just feeding them first then dropping them off, but then we would be cutting it close, because you can not drop kids off during 'transition time' The time it takes them to get to or from another place.

Sooooooo we are dropping them off early, then going back and getting ready for dinner with out the kids underfoot. woot


As for a Drink of the Day or Rum tasting, I am sure something could be worked out if enough people are interested.

My Passport renewal final came on Monday - only took 10 weeks, so I must be one of the lucky ones DH has been working very hard our door magnets - he seems to be having a lot of fun with that. We have adjoining rooms, so twice as much fun for him Now, if I could just get my act together and finish with all the other details (packing) - I've been doing a lot of shopping and a lot of buying, but still so much to do

Well, you'd think since I've been off for the last 3 weeks recovering from surgery that I would have more stuff done...but sadly, I don't. First 2 weeks were for recovery...but this last week has been a lazy wash. Haven't done anything constructive....feel so guilty.

I really need to get some gumption and go through some stuff..see what else is needed. Anybody got a pickup trick..something to get me motivated? Cruise is still just too far away for me to get panicked..I am a procrastinator's procrastinator so I won't be moving until the day before...I know how I work. I took the 4th as an extra vacation day because I know how I am. We leave on the 5th..but don't know what time we have to be at the airport. We fly through Disney and so won't know until we get paperwork. That's one thing I'd like to know ahead of time. That way I know how much time I can waste on the 4th...did I just say that?

Your so funny Rdy!!! I wish I could embrace the procrastinator in me, but with 3 little ones, I hve to stay on top of things.

I just got a call from Disney Dinning. Tempankaianki (the japannese restraunt) will NOT be reopened in time for our dinner there on Oct 5th. So we need to make alt. plans. What DD doesn't know if months ago when I knew it might be close, I booked a second dinning reservation to CYA....

But for our inconvience they are giving us VIP seating for IllumiNations, which my friends will use while we are sailing. So it's all good.

I was sound asleep when they called.... and I am still asleep now. I wonder if anything I am typing makes sense.

Gosh I am going to miss sleeping in once school starts.
