We decided on doing the MNSSHP the night before the cruise so we'll be staying at All Star Music and doing the party on the 5th and driving to port in our rental car on the 6th!

Key West: electric car -no specific plans

Cozumel: Jenny's beach -Sea Trek excurs- (11am) then on to Chakanaab park for fun rest of day.

Grand Cayman's: Capt Marvins stingrays 10-2

Castaway Cay: Glass bottom boat 9:45 (DS-parasailing and banana boat)

I saw mention of that - or going to Costa Maya instead of Cozumel (not sure why that is different). I hope it passes them by - they were hit so hard a few years ago.

My Guess many people at Disney Cruiseline are working on that right now...

Costa Maya is different because it's about 150-200 miles south of Cozumel so it didn't sustain the same damage from Wilma that Cozumel did. The latest projection looks like it has Dean hitting near the midpoint between Cozumel and Costa Maya.

After the challenges DCL faced in 2004 and 2005, you can be sure that they've made "Hurricane Alternative" plans long before the season started. It's just prudent to know what you choices are before you need them.

We'll know a lot more about whether Dean will have any lasting effect on our cruise probably by Tuesday or Wednesday. The latest projections show Dean slipping a little more south. The further south it goes, the less damage to Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

hoping we aren't in the area of hurricanes, my DM (gramma 86) will panic, not mentioning any such thing to her, praying for no emergencys of any kind. have to remain positive! plans will continue to be "on an even keel" for all the way. don't swim, can float, or used to. course i've gained a "few " extra pounds too so, more to float, right? took a look at the food. my goodness, i hope i can contain myself. what to do with all the choices. best if we all try something different and share a bite of each. that way, we get the choice of variety. like i'd best get back on my exercise program, and twice a day at that! or, they will be tying a rope around me and making me RUN behind that electric car. and forget the wheelchair! (don't let my DD see this, she may take me up on it) after i called her a card.

As far as excersise goes... Since we are Way forward and most of what we want to do is Aft... Just that walk there counts as our daily does! Doesn't it?

i certainly hope the walk counts. the way i eat, it sure better i was just trying to put a note of cheer in here, i realize there r people out there in trouble. but i am an upbeat person so it is my way of doing things.

We tried to get the lime green shirts and they are sold out except for XL Hmmm. Wonder why. So we went multi colored...aqua for DD and a white adult and the one lime green. Disney has some cute stuff on sale right now.
