October 5, 2014 Dream 4-night Bahamian Cruise

We are planning on booking this trip because we want to celebrate halloween on a cruise. Will they have any halloween party at this time or is it too early?

And we would love to do a FE exchange as well!

Got this off of the disney website, for the Dream only!
Already have my daughter's costumeS in hand. It's gonna be a blast!pirate::scared1:

Discover treats, tricks, magical mischief and spooky surroundings as you celebrate Halloween on the High Seas! This new experience is offered only aboard the Disney Dream, on itineraries departing September 22 to October 31, 2013 (excludes itinerary departing September 29, 2013).

Thrills and chills await you at every turn with Halloween-themed parties, lively entertainment and elaborate décor—including an evolving Halloween Tree that eerily transforms throughout your cruise.

Other special experiences include:

Mickey's Mouse-querade Party—an atrium party scare-a-bration in addition to Pirate Night—with ghoulish games, trick-or-treating, dancing and some favorite Disney Pals in their Halloween attire
Halloween-themed activities for all ages, such as mask-making for kids and pumpkin-carving for teens
Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream, an interactive movie experience where you're part of the action, followed by a meet-and-greet with Jack and Sally
Haunted Stories of the Sea—a storytelling experience on the deck
Halloween movie marathon to get you in the spirit, shown on Funnel Vision and on the dedicated in-room television channel
Halloween Isn't Just for Kids—an adults-only party that includes a costume contest

And more spooky surprises await you onboard!

Ooh, looks liks a lot of fun! I have the hardest time with costumes, though.
My DD would like to be Elisabeth Swann - yeah I think dragging a pair of huge boots to fall in FL is a great idea :rotfl2:

My husband has been playing phone tag with the travel agent all day to get our deposit paid but we are going on this cruise! It will be me, my dh, and my two boys ages 7&4 (I can't believe they will be that old when we go!) I am so excited and can hardly wait to go. I would definitely love to do FE. I'm trying to convince my dh that we need to spend a few extra days in the world after the cruise. He is not exactly a Disney enthusiast. We have been to the World twice when the boys were 3&5 months and 4&19 months but this will be our first Disney cruise. DH and I did a 7 night RCC cruise for our honeymoon almost 10 years ago and loved it! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi UAGirl - how fun! I'm excited that more people are joining in.
I've been on a Disboards kick lately, but haven't been on this thread for some time. We'd love to get to know you in the months to come.

We've also been two times to WDW and this is our first cruise.

We finally booked a cruise! It will be me, DW and DD(13). We have deposit down on cruise and we are still planning Disworld portion of trip. We think we may want to rent points from a Vacation Club member and stay at the Boardwalk.

Are you planning wdw time before or after your cruise?

pirate:We are planning on doing the cruise portion first and then anther four nights at Disney. We are super excited!pirate:

Welcome! Glad to see more cruisers on! I guess it will pick up soon since its only 259 days away! Your Cruise/Disney world trip sounds fun!

:beach:So excited! My DD, 6 picked out her dinner outfits-snow white and jasmine. Also just picked up a pirate girl costume for the pirate deck party! Looking for magnets for our door. Anyone have any links? Also, just received our FE in the mail from etsy! Very spooky for our Halloween cruise. Anyone have experience with FE exchanges??? We want to get started on gifts to get in the cruising mood.

T1nkerBell; It's gonna be a blast! About the boots, I've seen covers that go over shoes that look like boots. They fold flat for easy travel! Perfect finishing touch for a E. Swann costume. And fits perfectly with the theme of the cruise-great idea!

Me & DBF are looking to book this cruise too!

We're planning on 7 nights at BC, then the cruise, then 2 nights at AKL!
Gotta ring WDTC this week when I get chance to add the cruise & extra 2 nights to our already booked 7 nights at BC! Can't wait :)

We've never cruised before so really looking forward to it!

I'm all booked for this cruise. It will me myself, my husband, and our son. He will be 3 at the time of the cruise.

This will be my 3rd Disney cruise and the munchkins first Disney cruise.

After the cruise its off for 3 days at Animal Kingdom Lodge for some Disney World fun.

We will be at DW first then the cruise. DD just turned 7 last week.

A great site for magnets is Wonderful Disney Graphics on facebook. (I am not allowed to put links yet.)

Hoping to do FE too!

Yay - we're getting to be a group now. I'm just checking in after this week's work and we're on page three :cool1:

Poppop, we're also staying in WDW after the cruise!

Who'd want to do FE? Does anyone have any experience with FE already? I could change my first post to contain a list of FE participants, if you'd like.

I have noticed some cruises have a private facebook group so that everything posted is not open to everyone on the internet to see. Is anyone interested in this?

I am interested in the FE. Pinning some ideas already. (there is also a facebook group that has general ideas and info)

Hi everyone! We just recently booked this cruise - it will be me, DH, and our four sons (ages at cruise 17, 13, 11, 8). It will be the second Disney cruise for DH and I, but the FIRST Disney cruise for the kids and they are beyond excited!

Can't wait to plan with all of you and meet you onboard! :cool1:
