October 5, 2013 ~ "Wonder"ful Disney Cruise

We just booked this cruise! We sailed out of Galveston on the magic the first week of March. We flew in the morning of the cruise in March but that flight is not scheduled so we are flying into Hobby on Friday night. I need to get a hotel booked, we won't have a car so we need a hotel with breakfast or a close walk. Since we booked so late my port arrival time is not until noon. My kids are going to be crazy by then! I hope we can get a late check out from our hotel. I am wondering if we can show up at the port earlier. I haven't decided on FE, we have always joined the group on our previous cruise. Does anyone know how many staterooms/people are signed up? Any big allergies on the list? It will be myself, DH, DD12, DD9 and this will be our 3rd cruise. :cheer2:

When we cruised Disney in March my sister had a 11 a.m. boarding time and we had a Noon. We arrived at the same time- a bit before 11 a.m., and they gave her a lower boarding group number than they gave us based upon our pre-determined boarding time. So, you can arrive early and get "processed" but you will just be sitting in the holding area until your number is called.

I am just checking in. I am Very excited. Traveling with 3 1/2 year old daughter. Hubby has to stay home, but two other families we know will be with us. I don't do Facebook, but want to give the FE thing a try.
Thanks

I never heard back so I wanted to give some more info:
We are interested in the FE. Hailey my 3 year old will be with me. She loves princesses. I couldn't figure out facebook. Please let me know if I'm already on the list or not. We are really looking forward to it.:hourglass

my husband and I up for this cruise today. This will be our third trip out of Galveston. The first two were on the Magic (First and Last). No kids this time which will make for a different experience! Looking forward to meeting everyone...btw - Staying at the Fairfield Inn the night before and using Light House parking - our usual!

Just booked this cruise last night! Was floored when DH said "we should book a cruise in October before they leave Texas, what kind of deal can you get?" I booked a VGT rate and will be happy with any room on the ship!

Only 28 days 13 hours and 9 min to go first time on the Wonder have been on the Magic 4 times and Fantasy 1 time....Can not wait to see the spa on the Wonder going with hubby and we love our spa time....booked Palo dinner and brunch...
First time in Jamaica for Disney!

We might be changing from the Dream to this cruise instead. is the FE group still open?

Hello! The fish Extender for the facebook group that has the link in the 2nd post of this thread is now closed as of 9/5/13. There may be another list out there somewhere though:) Thanks everyone!

We just booked this cruise last week -- it will be our very first cruise ever! I was lurking a bit on the FB page for this cruise, but I deleted myself when it wasn't looking like we'd be able to sail.

Anyway! My DD, in 8th grade is looking for some new friends to get to know before we sail via text or email. Does anyone here have an 8th grade DD who would like to do the same? My DD attends Christian school, plays club volleyball, loves her ipod and Instagram, loves shopping at the mall and is all about her friends!

If anyone has the same, please PM me or post here. Really hoping for a nice group of kids in the clubs on this cruise. :thumbsup2 Our wonderful 9yo DD will also be with us and probably in the clubs also. She also plays volleyball and loves animals and bugs and has a heart of gold!

We live in AZ and will be sailing during our Fall Break.

hello everyone! The husband and i will be going on this cruise (woohoo!! only 16 more days!) and we are very excited! We don't do Facebook and we were wondering if there was an adult meet and greet. We would like to meet other adults who love Disney as much as we do.

hi we are going on our first DS cruise and im not sure what is the fish extender is ? we will be on the oct.5 I just found out about this site.

I'm on this cruise too, and just realized it will be the very first time Disney cruises to Jamaica. Should be fun.

Anyone else book one of the *GT rates? 12 days out and anxiously waiting for room assignment. Did I just say only 12 days left???

Got mine, too! Even more excited now that I know where we'll be. Plus we couldn't be happier about the room assignment! :cloud9:

Only one more week to go!! I cannot believe we will be sailing a week from now!! Woooooohoooooo!!:cool1::thumbsup2

We just decided today that we are going on the Disney Wonder next Saturday, October 5th for the 7 night Western Caribbean. I know it's a long shot but are there any FE groups that would let me in? It's me, my husband & our two boys (12 & 9). They will be so bummed to not be in it and we are NOT spontaneous vacationers so I would have had this planned way in advance.
If not, are there any individuals that couldn't get in before and is willing to swap a few things?
