Make sure you know the entry requirements for Bermuda. DCL should have them on their website. You will have to pay $40 per person to get a Bermuda Travel Authorization before arriving, be fully vaccinated, and show proof of a negative Covid test before you can go ashore. Here’s the link. We will be getting off the ship on October 5th when you are getting on. You've probably already found it, but I found the official Bermuda tourism site very helpful. They will even send you a paper map of the Island of that is the kind of thing you find helpful.

It's fairly new and since Disney isn't heading to Bermuda until fall, DCL isn't notifying anyone about it, yet. The fee and other requirements might change before your cruise. I wouldn't much worry about it for now.

Thanks. Shouldn't DCL inform us of this. And I noticed it mentions PCR Covid test. I have recently done Disney cruises out of Port Canaveral and they tested us before we embarked. Wonder what they do in NY.

Not necessarily. Cruise lines are taking the stance that it is the responsibility of the customer to know the entry requirements for each port on the cruise. As OP said, maybe you will get information closer to your cruise and the final pay date.

I had a Bermuda Carnival Cruise booked for October that I recently canceled—not because of the $40 fee. Carnival didn’t inform me of the requirement, I just happened to read an article on it and then checked their website and the information was there. Just make sure you do your due diligence.

We're on this one as well. We've had 2 years of cancelations and hope there are no glitches with this one! What are you planning to do in Bermuda?

This was our last DCL . . . almost 3 years ago, and we liked it a lot. Seas can be a bit angry in October, but manageable. HotHS was fun too. Leaving out of NYC was a benefit for us . . . albeit w different challenges.

I have been to Bermuda 10+ times (previously via airplane and stayed in various hotels) and have traveled the island quite a bit. It's a unique place and I hope you have the wherewithal to go beyond the Dockyard. Let me know if you have specific questions.

FWIW, DW and I are on last cruise from NYC this Oct 31st that visits Bermuda for 1-day only on its way down to Caribbean (Puerto Rico). We love the Magic.
