It is good to be home, but I gave the kids 1 1/2 day reprieve of school today to finish up homework that should have been done while we were away (like that was really going to happen!).
I seem to be the only one still feeling the lovely swaying motion! The kids miss our servers, Alexander & Sergio. My son especially misses coming in at 2am and his new friends (why is it all girls signed the back of his t-shirt?) I miss housekeeping services!!!! Still working on the mounds of laundry. Just baked chocolate chip cookies (for any of you that were lucky enough to do the room service evening choc. chip cookie thing!).
All of us are thinking of the Mediterranean cruise. Any takers?!

Then my family would look at me like I was crazy. "How do you know these people?" my mom would ask. After explaining she would smile and say what a neat thing the internet was.

Well, my 3 year old got sick Friday on the ship. Saturday mornig the ship's MD said it looked like swine flu. She's better today and her pediatrician said watch and see. Did anyone hear of a breakout of this on the ship? Charlie never left the ship unitl Castaway Cay so probably picked it up from Oceaneer's club. But I never heard anything about people getting it on the ship.

But, even with H1N1, we all had a great time and look forward to doing an Alaskan cruise in 2011. Thanks to all of you, again.

Wow! When you said Swine flu before, I thought you were referring to the computer issue a couple of weeks ago. YIKES!

No, we still have that issue, too. Mark is working on that tonight - trying to get Jonah's computer ready to chat tonight. If he can't, Jonah will use Mark's.

Yeah ..... the real flu. Yuck. He feels terrible.

Just wanted to let each of you know how much we enjoyed the FE. The kids loved getting little surprises each day and each was wonderful! Hope you enjoyed your cruise as much as we did. We had 27 people with us so while we didn't get to meet each of you, you made our cruise a great experience. We've rebooked again but just a dummy date for now. Thanks again!!!

Hi guys ....

I wanna get back on the boat NOW!!!!!!!

I came home with a cold but that is all and I feel much better now. We left straight fromthe port and were in our house at 8:30 pm Saturday night. I slept mostof Sunday though so I still need to get unpacked and start looking at the photos.

Went back to work today and I did managed to get thru the emails waiting for me at work, all 300+ but still have a inbox to dig through.

The cruise was great, loved spending time with everyone and the kids were awesome... Hope we can all stay friends and cruise together again soon.

Who rebooked? We did LOL

Started looking at all of the pictures tonight and want to go back: only 585 days until we set sail again. The kids had fun at school retelling all of their stories. Sunday was filled with doing laundry and all the homework that was supposed to be done during the week we were gone. Sydney sent her first email tonight to a friend she made.
Glad to hear people got home safely.
Sorry to hear others were sick, too. Ethan was running a fever on Saturday and Sunday, but just stuffy now.

They were our servers too! Alex was great with my daughter. Now, I wait for someone to being me a diet coke, but nothing happens.. Hmmm, I think we chatted a couple of times...you and your son did lobster night without the rest of the family?

I sent my son to school without some of his work done today. I offered to let him stay home, but he said no - go figure!

I too am still working on the laundry. I am better today, but I had a lot of the swaying feeling as well.

DH is sick now, as is DD. DS was sick on Saturday (but to his stomach, not like DH and DD) but is better now.

Well, we did not rebook on the cruise, but that was only because we had one already booked. However, planning on sailing the Dream in 2011. Maybe if others are as well we can coordinate a trip!

We rebooked for the same week in 2011 (my reservation says 717 days, is that far?) Problem is that it is the exact same cruise. Same ship, same ports. We were really hoping for the Dream and different ports. Dream has 3 and 4 night cruises that week so we might change to the 4 night. But is 4 nights really enough? Maybe we would do a land-sea package.
Does anyone know if we change our booking to be a land sea, do we get the 10% on the whole trip or just the sea portion?

What a great time we had on the cruise! It was so nice to put faces to names! After the cruise we surprised the kids w/Disney for the weekend. Stayed at Bay Lake Tower, it was very nice. Magic Kingdom was great as usual, kids didn't want trip to end. Back to reality & laundry today!

We did not rebook at this time but we did buy 50 additional points for our DVC membership, so now we have both Saratoga Springs and added Bay Lake Towers as our second home.

I have a problem though since I was unpacking and came across that Kermit booked a trip after hanging out with his good buddy Walter. It seems that he is really missing his travel buddy.... all I hear is him either humming or singing "It's not easy being .................."

I thought I saw they two of them looking over our cruise documents after we rebooked, now I know why. Walter won't stop singing that song either. Heard it all the time on the ship.

Walter has been working on his trip report and it should be done in a day or two, maybe sooner if I slack off some more at work hahaha.. NOT!
