Hey everyone... I went down and saw the Magic in dry dock yesterday..

She is beautiful... I am now beyond excited about our 4 day in three weeks and then our Halloween cruise next year.

I wanted to share the link to the pictures I took.. If you wish to see them click here

Have a great week.
I am a Virginian Too!! Hey neighbor, Scottsville near Charlottesville

Anyone start thinking of flights yet? I know we are still far out, but do any airlines post schedules a year out? Does anyone have a list of airlines and when they typically release prices and schedules?

Is it best to book as soon as the flights are released (like for the cruise), or is it better to wait and keep checking deals?

The airlines release / post their fares 330 days in advance. You won't see anything for the end of October until December sometime

I booked the Hyatt Regancy at Orlando Airport today for the night before our cruise leaves!!! :mickeyjum

Hi everyone
Just thought I would pop in quick and let everyone know that I am still here. Just very busy at work and getting ready for my cruise next week. :cool1: :cool1:

I will get the website updated before I leave so I hope all the newest members will PM me with their information.

We would be those friends!!:grouphug:
Also would like to join the meet and Fish Extenders!!
Me(38), DH(43). Our first cruise too! WooHoo!!

Is it time to go yet?

Kris!!!

Imagine my surprise when I check the thread and there you are!!!! I am so glad that you and Ben are joining us and excited about it!

We will be doing fish extenders and I will be working on some magnets for sure before we go!

I just saw a post that someone mentioned the Disney Pix 2 sofware with the camera....Kaylee has one of these so I am off to check it out tonight!! I would be glad to share!

I cannot wait to meet all of you!!

What price did you get, and who did you book it through?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Had computer problems. With the AAA discount it's $158 a night. I booked it online at the resorts website. My in-laws booked as well, they got a cheaper rate as senior citizens, but you could only get 1 room at a senior citizen discount, that's why we used AAA.

I'm going with my parents as well so they can also get that senior citizen discount. I know you said they could only book one room at that price. I'm going to see if my Mom can book one room for her and my Dad book the second room for him. Did you try that?

Holly - I am sorry I missed this. We are almost neighbors. We are in Varina which is east of Richmond on the 295 corridor so we are about an hour from you, maybe a bit longer..

Thank goodness we have more Virginian's on this cruise. We desperately need to balance it out with all the NJ folks :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Okay everyone I am leaving in about 5 hours to head to WDW and the Wonder cruise on Sunday..:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I promise lots of pictures of everything to share.

Have a great week and half.

Oooh, no I didn't try that. I'm sure it will work though, good idea!

We got our reservations for Friday night at the Hyatt at MCO. Next on the list is to start looking for flights.
Question - if you rent your own car to get from the hotel to the port and don't take the dcl transportation, can you still use that Hyatt feature that lets them get your bag to the ship? What if we booked the room on our own and not through DCL or a TA?

Hi EVERYONE!!! We're coming too!!! ... Probably...most likely... :)

We were on the May 3 Western Cruise and rebooked for 10/31/09 AND 11/7/09 because we aren't 100% sure which week the kids will have off of school in 2009 (at the time, 18 months away...LOL). They get the whole week off that first week of November. Because it's so early we wanted to make sure we got the great rate and the right week! We'll just cancel the one we won't use. I have a feeling it will be this one though. Since we just did the Western it's sort of a mixed blessing, but if I get to go back on the ship, they can just go in circles for all I care!!! :rotfl: This will be our 3rd cruise. We did the 4-night April 2007. Haven't thought too much about it as we have several WDW trips planned between now and then. I have a bit of an addiction. :thumbsup2

Looking forwrd to getting to know all of you!

Hi everyone! We just transfered from the 11/14/2009 to this Halloween cruise!
It will be my DH, DS 10, DS 8 (at the time of sailing) , and myself for my big 50th:cool1: birthday! I hope they do trick or treating!

Hi guys, we are home from our first DCL cruise and it was AWESOME!!!!

Learned alot that we will apply to the 7 day. Thank goodness we had this booked before we had to get off the ship otherwise I would have really been bummed out.

Once I get settled at the house I will fill you all in on the lessons learned

Hi all :)

I haven't checked in some time, my bad! We are almost under a year :goodvibes

OT - My parents just contracted the bane of all cruisers, the dreaded Norwalk virus. They just came home on Sunday from a 7 day cruise (NOT Disney!) and both got sick on board. Dad is 90, so this has us a little nervous. He's not actively sick any more, but just doesn't feel right. He's going back to the doctor tomorrow AM. Everyone stock up on Purell!
