As far as we know, Jared has to leave to report to NC on Monday night. I've not given up, though, and I'm still praying that he'll get the recruiter's assistance post that he has applied for.

I will try to make it! Wish we were still on vacation, but I am glad that Jared has been with his family!!! Fingers crossed that he gets the assignment he wants.

Jared didn't get recruiter's assistance. We're disappointed, but we know that there's a plan and a reason. He leaves here Monday night for School of Infantry in North Carolina.

I PLAN to be at chat Sunday night. It will depend on what he's doing and if I am able to spend more time with him that night or not.

I'm so thrilled for Jared because he's doing exactly what he wants to do. It took soooooo much to get him in there, and it has really paid off. I don't want to lose him again this soon, but I know that he's moving forward with his Marine education and goals. He has great plans, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out for him.

It just breaks my heart that he won't be here for Christmas. But ... I just can't think about that right now.

I feel so out of the loop. I am so sorry I missed chat. I hope I remember Sunday. We have cheerleading Sunday until 8pm, so i will hopefully be able to hop on there after that.
