Woohoo! Made my ADRs for the couple of days we will be at the park after the cruise. It is our first trip to WDW. We are doing Epcot Thursday and MK on Friday. A friend that lives in the area is coming with us on Friday (I think).
I wanted to do the Aloha Luau, but the only 2 days I had available for it were Sunday and Monday and the show is dark those days.Oh well, we will have a good time no matter what we are doing: we will be at Disney.
Hi all,
My fiancé and I will be on our honeymoon and joining in on the nov 3rd cruise. We are coming from Australia so it will be our first cruise!! So excited!
Just off the Dream today and booked this for a friend and I as DH has to work. The ship is magnificent and I can't wait to get back onboard.Looking forward to meeting everyone,I have a lot of reading to do to catch up!
Arlene (and friend Ellen)
We are doing Akershus on Thursday and 1900 Park Fare Friday. Since it is our first trip I am struggling with making the "perfect" choice...hello! We are DVC and WILL be back many times! The girls loved the character dining on the Magic and since it isn't offered on the Dream, we thought we would do those meals. I really hope our friend makes it, because he really is a kid at heart and will have a blast watching the girls!
We splurged on a MK view in BLT since it is only for the 2 nights and if the girls are wiped out we can still see the fireworks!
Are you doing 1900 PF for Breakfast or Dinner? We are doing breakfast there on Friday.
Cathy, we were seated with a adorable honeymoon couple on our very first cruise, they had a wonderful time on the cruise.
Arlene, welcome! Any tips to share about the Dream?

Happy mothers day to all the moms out there.
Just got home from a weekend at the beach. It was very nice and enjoyable.
My youngest DD called me on the way home to tell me she has a mothers day gift for me. I am going to be a grandma again

Good morning all! Mother's Day was good here. Insomnia has gripped me again, though. Not much sleep the past three nights.
The girls and I are off for three days of fun (for them) and learning (for me). With our local education system tanking rapidly, we have decided to homeschool in the fall when our oldest starts kindergarten. There is a practicum here that I hope will help me prepare for it. For the girls it is a play camp. Sounds like fun to me!!!
There are many in our area losing homes due to flooding of the MS River. Seeing the damage is mind-blowing, as Memphis is often referred to as the "Bluff City," but clearly there are many low-lying areas that the river has overtaken. It is expected to crest tonight at 14 feet over flood stage. Mosquitos will NOT be fun over the next month or two!
At least we have October to look forward to!!!!![]()
This year's weather has definitely not been good for so many. Hope you all remain safe, and untouched by the rising flood waters.
Congrats on your decision to homeschool. I am so happy our daughter is at an incredible school in this area. We were lucky and got her into a charter school. If she had to go to the one that our neighborhood feeds to, I would probably homeschool as well. However DD and I both have very strong personalities...probably good we don't spend all our time together! Homework some days sends us into a not good place. I have so many friends that homeschool...biggest advantage in my eyes is not comforming to the school year calendar.
