Well the sun finally decided to show his face today so that's one good thing - and it's supposed to stick around until Saturday afternoon. Mother's Day is supposed to be rainy but that's okay cause I'm taking my mom away for the week-end to casino Seneca Niagara in Buffalo.

I ordered a few summer dresses today (online) and can't wait for them to get here. I love to wear dresses on cruises - they feel so comfy and free.

My biggest problem with cruises is shoes. I always seem to under pack in that area. I'm thinking this time I'll bring running shoes, dress shoes, casual shoes and a pair of pool shoes. Maybe a pair of sandals (that could sub as pool / deck shoes as well).

Got back Monday from Colorado. Back to work on Tuesday, why is it that nothing changes when you get back from vacation? I still feel the same worn out when I got back to work, and feel like I wasnt even gone

Oh well....we are really getting closer to the cruise.
Anyone have any idea when Southwest may come out with their dates to get us home from the cruise??? Airtran has some decent prices, but I cant get a direct flight, most of them have layovers....so I would like to hold out and see what southwest has....

I have no idea, but I wish that they would add more! I know that it is plenty of time out, but we are looking to fly to Phoenix for Christmas, and we usually get our tix pretty early for that. I keep checking back, but Nov. 4 is the latest I have seen.

Hi Everyone, This will be our very first cruise (I'm not going to count the 6 months on a US naval ship in the Med.) It will be myself (Tim) DW, DS11, DD9, and DS8. I'm kinda having Disney withdrawals because we did not make the trip this year to the World. With more than 250 pages of this thread, I should be able to get somewhat of a fix just trying to catch up.

We have a list of most everyone posting here and it includes if they want to do the FE exchange.
I would love to add you and your family to the list and send you out a copy of it so you can get aquainted with all of us easier and your kids can find kids their own age on the list. Then with the parents help they can get aquainted before the cruise so they have a friend waiting on board for them.

On the list the information listed are basic. please PM me and give me any or all of the following information to put on the list.

cabin number
dining time
any special occassions your celebrating on board
how many cruises you've done
city and state your from
e-mail address ( so I can send the list and for others to contact you)

Welcome! (And Ellen and Tim's family.) It just gets closer and closer. Yay!

My little vent for the night: Blizzard Beach is going to be closed while we're at WDW. I am so disappointed. My DH is not a big waterpark fan, so I was going to take the girls after he went home. I'm not sure the attractions at TL will work for us. My DDs are not thrill seekers and TL doesn't have the intermediate area like the Ski Patrol area at BB.

If we skip the waterpark, I have to make up my mind if we should just have a resort day, do DHS on either a F! day or a pm EMH day, or AK on an am EMH day. Too many choices and I have to make ADRs on Saturday!

OK, vent over, I am happy to be spending almost 2 weeks on a Disney vacation. I will roll with the small disappointments.

Yep got back Monday afternoon...had a great time with the baby...celebrated her 2nd birthday....
this will be my last trip to colorado. Heather will be transferring bases and moving to Washington State outside of Seattle. So I guess I will be "closer" to both you and Kathy. She will be making the move in August. So I get to have a new place to visit....

the weather is starting to warm up finally, they are talking in the 80's by tuesday.

DF is Jason or aussieprince on here. We are staying at POFQ for 10 nights before our cruise. And then wilderness lodge the night before we go home. 2 weeks in total. I can't wait. I'll check out post 10 now.
