I LOVE IT!! So cute! I want to copy :yay: please :flower3: There are 9 of us going and I would love to have at least one day with matching shirts for all of us. Where did you get them done?

I'll be bringing... Whatever I can find around Disneyland as we are there for the 6 days before the cruise and we will not have a car. I might have to resort to ordering one from room service and bringing it with me ;)

There is tons around Disneyland, you'll be able to find something that is cheaper than room service.

My dining room table :rotfl: I got the Mickey heads from either milliep or jtanddolly on the DISign boards added the text in word and printed them on fabric transfers and voila! Awesome personalized tee-shirts for DH and I

Thanks. I have updated the posting.

Sorry I haven't been on the boards much in the past two weeks but we have been involved in a lot of stressful medical issues. I actually got all my papers together to file a cancellation claim but yesterday Bob got approval from his doctors to go on the cruise. YAH

Val

Sorry to hear that Val. I'm glad you can still make the trip! I hope Bob is doing well. Hopefully a nice relaxing cruise will help with the stress.

Hi Tink,
Room service sounds way to expensive. I was at Costco today and got some prices. If you want I can buy and carry on for you since I'm driving to the port. I also have a Samsclub membership but I'm not sure what they have. I'll go in a couple of days and let you know. I can also go to BEVmo, just let me what you need.

Costco

Champagne
Dom Perignon Brut $124.88
Veuve Clicquot Brut $38.99
Moet & Chandon Imperial $29.99
Kirkland Signature Brut Rose $24.99
Kirkland Signature Champagne $19.99
Schramsberg Mirabelle Brut Rose Napa Valley $18.99
Korbel Brut $8.99

Sparkling Wine
Wilson Creek Almond Sparkling Wine $8.99

There is a Costco in one of our ports (or so I am told). Can champagne be bought there and brought on ship?
I can find out which port if this idea works.

From what I've read you can buy alcohol in port and bring it aboard so that might work for many of us, and I'm sure there is a liquor store near DLR, how else do the parents stay so happy :upsidedow

There's also a Walmart in one of the ports too!

If our cruise stops don't change, at PV there is a Walmart across the street from the ship. It is not a short walk exactly, You have to get off the ship, walk out of the terminal area, down to the corner, cross the highway (there is a light at the corner) and through the parking lot to the store. If it is 100 degrees out, not so bad going but with an arm full of bags what looked like "across the street - I can see it" is a little bit more. Especially for us old fat farts.

Hi Everyone,
I have a question for a friend who is cruising 11/6. She said she heard there is some kind of family childcare/kids club for families with kids who would normally be split up because of their ages? Her kids range from 4 to 14, and she's afraid her little guy will be scared to be left without a family member.
I haven't heard of this, has anyone else?

Thanks.

Yep, we're still stowaways in the lifeboats! ...and I am crushed at the lack of sympathy from my fellow cruisers! (justkidding!) Anyone willing to share a room? :lmao:

Ok, sorry for getting pleasure from your pain. How's this..... if it's raining I'm sure my family would let you come in out of the cold. (You don't snore do you?) :rotfl:

We're still here. We got our gifts to put in the FE already - we suddenly found something unexpectedly at the mall the other day which worked out great (we hope you think so too.)
To finalize the FE list:

Jeffrey orl fla & Smffms are you still with us?

Todd and I also just added ourselves to the spreadsheet for the Mixology. Do we need to pay something in advance or sign up with DCL? Where and when does it take place?

Our Gas & Electric company had our neighborhoods electricity off all day so just now reading the postings.

I have updated the FE list to reflect jeffrey orl fla as confirmed for the FE.

We have 19 signed-up for the mixology. I might have 2 more making it 21. DCL says we need 25. I'll ask if they will do it with our smaller group. If they say yes, I'll get what info they need. In the past, I have given them the list with your names and cabin numbers (I think they needed last names too). Then they told us the date and time of the session, it has always been a sea day afternoon. They deliver tickets to your room and charge the fee to your account. I have nothing to do with the $ part of it.

I'll let you know what they tell me.

Me too! I can't believe that you would let a little snoring get in the way of providing shelter to your fellow homeless cruisers! Oh well, at least the deck chairs will be empty at night!party:

And if no one lends you a blanket, you can always use the pool towels to keep warm.:rolleyes1

Hey, maybe you could save me a chair so I can sleep in!

Ok, so we're driving through the Long Beach area and, oh look, there's Terminal Island, oh look, there's the Vincent Thomas Bridge. As we're driving over the top of the bridge I look to my left and I hear a scream from inside the car. (Oh wait, that was me! :lmao:) There it is, I yell!!! :yay: The Wonder was sitting in port waiting to sail. We got off on Harbor Blvd, went straight through the intersection, turned right and pulled into Berth 93. It was about 3:30 and we drove through the drop off area but at the CM were already on board so we couldn't get an Itinerary. We talked to one of the security guys and told him we were sailing in 3 weeks. He said normally, they open the doors around 9:30 - 10:00 depends on the day. As we drove home we crossed the bridge again and we could see everyone on the deck doing the Life Boat Drill. It was so exciting!

Ok, now my girls want to get to port at 9:00am on the 30th. Yeah, like we'll be packed and ready. Hopefully today will motivate them to start packing early.

20 days and counting!

So exciting! I think I'm going to do a drive by this Sunday so we can take a peek. I'm sure my kids will love it! I'm only 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic.

I'm so glad we did. If you get there by 3:00 you might be able to get a copy of the Voyage Navigator. If you turn into the first parking for berth 93 you have to pay to get out. It's only $1 for the first hour but just an FYI. I think it's the second turn in that takes you to drop off and you just drive through. There were a few parking spaces just to the left as you pull in off of Harbor. If you park there you can just walk over to check in and you get a great view of the front of the ship.

My girlfriend sailed 9/25/11 - 10/1/11 and she e-mailed me the navigators. :woohoo: We're missing Wednesday but that's ok with me. I don't know how to post them for everyone, but if you PM me, I'll e-mail it to anyone that wants to take a peek. I see they're showing The Lion King in 3D.

17 Days and counting!
