38 days and counting. I am going to TRY to make my FE today. I don't sew so I don't know what it will look like. Oh dear.

I've also started my shopping for the FE's. I've made a few too! I just need to buy some zip ties so no one will take the FE!

I have been looking on cruise critics, since that's where we normally find stuff, but glad I stumbled on to this site. We are going on this cruise as well. Wife and Myself(30 and 31) along with son and daughter(2&3/4, and 6), MIL,SIL, nephew, parents. I believe our total party is 16. Doing the 4 night land before hand. I had read in the past that cruisers from here had set up a "trick or treat" for the kids. Was curious if anyone would be interested in this. Also, where would we find a fish hanger???? Thanks

Ok just one other question. Do we give all the families gifts everyday or do we hit all the families at least one time during the cruise? That gives me a better idea of how much stuff I'd need to get.

On a short cruise like this I think each day but just a small gift a day will be fine I think Halloween makes it very easy and pirate theme items a great place to go is Dollar tree if you have one

I guess someone needs to post the guidelines. Do we buy for the adults too? I was assuming you had a pocket for Mom, Dad, + kids? Am I wrong? I am new to this too and would like someone in the know to post exactly what we need to do and who to buy for.

I don't believe they are really any guidelines for the FE exchange. When you get a list of who is in the exchange you can either buy one gift per stateroom or if you want you can buy gifts for each of the kids in the room. Its really want you want to do! This is suppose to be a small gift, fun, and not expensive to do! Since its halloween, I'm doing a small bag of candy for each kid in the stateroom. I would hate to share my candy, LOL!!!

I think being such a short cruise we should include everyone but any other opions please chime in we do have one cabin joining us that is Only Adults so they must be included. But really ony 2 or 3 items per couple can't hurt anyone and let the BIG kids have some fun too. Does eveyone agree?

I worked all day yesterday and finished my fish extender.

If I knew how to insert a picture, I would but I don't know how.
