What is bad is I kept telling myself..this is a dream..but it didn't seem to make me argue any less...

Poor DS..I am really hoping that Kate doesn't get this..she doesn't need to be sick!

Hope DS is feeling better soon....lots of stuff seem to be going around. Mine still has his cough but seems OK otherwise

You are I think 3 hours behind us. We are in the Eastern time zone....same was as WDW.....

Kim

You guys sure keep this thread busy!

Yes, they make Palo brunch ressies on board as well... I say, go there as as soon as they open, (before actually, since there will be a line), and you'll be able to get something.

As far as the new dock in St. Thomas, I can see it being a potential problem. Not a major one perhaps, but causing some difficulties anyway.
First of all, we'd prefer to just walk to the Paradise Point tram, walk (stumble??) back to the ship afterward, then get off the ship again to go to Havensight Mall. Can't do any of that from the new dock. Also, there is the added expense of taking a taxi to and from the dock. It just throws off the timing of the plans we've been making. I am going to email Tom McAlpin today and see what he's got to say about it. Might be beyond the scope of his authority though.

Six weeks from today, we leave! :bounce:

How can we get one of those new spa treatments?

Not sure about that yet. I'm trying to find out if they will be available for booking on our cruise. I don't have any answers yet.

 Johnna...

Have you found "the dress and shoes" yet????

Glad you had a great time at Disneyland, but then again it's DISNEY!!! How can ya go wrong!

Hey Paul.....you lurking out there????

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower:

Ok - it appears that the Magic is docking at Crown Bay because Disney lost their 'seniority' in St. Thomas, since she was in California all summer. But word is, the Magic will be back at the Havensight dock by next month! :cool1: Let's hope so!

:rolleyes1 Don't know why, there's no sun up in the sky, stormy weather... :rolleyes1

:wave2: Hi everyone, we are under a hurricane warning right now. I was sad before because this wasn't oceanfront property (ocean about a mile away) but now I am glad because then I probably would have been evacuated by now. I hope I don't have to evacuate, don't know where to go. :guilty: The people I really feel sorry for though are the Katrina evacuees, who came here, and now some of them have to evacuate again. I can't imagine how frustrated and sad they must feel. Ophelia is in kind of a slow speed wobble right now because it may just push off further away, but it may also hit us bad so....watch and wait I guess.

Hope everyone's kids feel better soon.

Tenor

Well I'm not Ronnie Jo, but here is what the schedule currently is on the Eastern:

Saturday (evening show) Welcome variety show
Sunday FORMAL NIGHT (evening show) Golden Mickeys
Monday (evening show) Twice Charmed
Tuesday Pirate Night
Wednesday (I think this is still the evening show) Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer
Thursday SEMI-FORMAL (evening show) Disney Dreams
Friday (evening show) Farewell variety show

I hope this helps.

Heard recently that WWTBAM does not run on all cruises. A lot of DISers are posting that the show has not recently been run. So, don't count on that one for sure.

 Good afternoon all!

Tenor: Keep your head down! I'll send pixie dust :wizard: that Ophelia passes you by.

RJ: I think I have decided to take the semi-formal dress and shoes and move them to formal night. Found "the shoes" at Nordstrom.com. Love Nordstrom!

Of course, I reserve the option to continue to shop until October 27th. :goodvibes

I took halloween costumes off the list for us adults. Too much pressure. :crazy2: DD is going to be tinkerbell. Big shocker.

Still working on pirate pirate: night - whether or not to do costumes. DD is all about the costumes. Maybe just her.???? :confused3

Tonight I check the luggage situation and determine any needs there. Then I will know just exactly how much I can pack! :Pinkbounc

I read another thread about the "other" dock - someone posted a picture of where the ship actually is. I will go and find it and post it here. OK-be right back.

DCL generally will not book any closer than 2 weeks before the cruise. I have heard people say they have booked closer, but that's what we are told when booking.

Hopefully we won't have to cut it that close!
Kathy isn't looking forward to her PT but is just to get it over with.
