Well..

Just got off the phone...Disney is taking my Deposit ...Thats 1250.00

No matter how I asked they wont budge....I didnt purchase insurance because I had no plan of canceling...Oh well..

This may stop me from using Disney in the future..I am booked to go to WDW next October...I really have second thoughts...If I wasnt going for my fathers 65th birthday, I would have cancelled today...

So much for the Disney Magic...Guess My pixie dust ran out...and I grew up..I dont get it...I know its my own fault for not getting insurance, but they could have helped a little...

Im sorry to complain..Just really had a bad day...

I would say,

Write DCL a note explaining what happened. They might help you out. It is worth a try.

A few weeks ago to get me in the MOOD I changed mine to "ZIPPETE DE DOO DAH" ( SP?) Its SOO cheery and when it rings it makes me smile!

Interesting..I just checked again to see what categories were still available on our cruise, and they all are still available. I think that really bodes well for us.

I know what you mean though, and I agree. The less crowded the ship is, the better. Hell, I think the DIS'ers from this thread might just command the whole ship all week!

Unfortunately even if you reschedule you still lose that money when you cancel/change inside of the penalty period. That is the policy with most cruise lines also, not just Disney.
I would approach your boss with the $$ it is costing you and ask if the company is going to reimburse you for your loss since he is not letting you off to cruise.

[4 years? Well We wanted a Bigger room and it didnt show up as an option? SO we got the biggest one that had left( the DLX family w/verandah) We would LOVE a Bigger room next time ( a SUITE) BUT I am not sure how to go about trying to GRAB One??? BEANO? any tips?

Well, the last couple of times I posted and asked questions and nobuddy answered.... I thought maybe that was a gentle nudge that I was posting too much, so I backed off. Still enjoy reading everything though, and am very excited. I have cancelled some spa stuff and a high tea on the 30th for group of 3-4 if someone wants to try and grab it. Jealous of everyone who gets to buy some bling, me no get to have any bling. Also hoping for upgrade, but with only 3 of us in a room, heard you get them easier if there are 4 to a room. I guess you never know, that's what adds to the excitement of getting your docs, to see what you have ended up with I guess.

What info where you looking for???? Try posting again I am sure you will get an answer.

We too are hoping for a upgrade, we are booked in a 12 gty but we have 4 people. I would love to get something with a window but a veranda....OMG that would be amazing..

Bling-Bling shopping...OMG, just looking on the internet is great. I am not a big jewerlly person, I only wear my anniversay band and family ring, but I am hoping something will catch my eye....actually I am looking for a nice bracelet or anklett....

Ok, back to work for a little bit...

A friend of mine is leaving for a hawaii cruise on Sunday....on Pride of Aloha...anyone any experience with it???
