Hello Again... everyone..

Are any of you Cigar Smokers?...

Our last cruise, the best time we had was on deck 9, right by Pinocchios pizza with cigars and my DCL mug-O-beer...

Smoking alone is nic..But smoking amongst friends is even better..

I can bring extra..I will be purchasing some fine cubans when I can on St.Marteens..

we have been smoking on desk 7 aft. great place to have a smoke and drink... and watch the port of call slip away..I typically bring a few cigar so i will look for you..

I think I might be the only one not doing excursions...When I went on my last cruise (before kids) my ex worked for Chrysler and he won the cruise from "5 Star". Chrysler paid for the cruise (nice big balcony) and all excusions..so being big divers, we took EVERY flippin excursion...in Aruba, we did 2. I was so exhausted after that cruise and never got to "enjoy" the ship. We were so stressed about getting up and ready in the morning to getting back and ready for dinner, I swore I would never do that again.
I think DD and I will do some snorkling in CC and there will be PLENTY of spa time, but I am looking forward to the big VEG!!! lol

Hopefully today will be a great day...I am taking my son Bobby Jr. to Yankee stadium for the first time...He just turned 6...

They are calling for rain this evening, But I dont care...I havent been to the stadium in 5 years myself...

Tonight they are playing the Angels...

Has anyone been to St Maarten before?..I was wondering where the ship docks..The Cigar shop I want to go to is the Cigar Emporium on Front Street in Phillipsburg..I have no idea where that is....

or how far it is from the cruise docks..

We aren't doing organized excursions either unless the kids want to do the dolphins. But, after our swim with them at Sea World I don't think it would be as good (and it's lot's more $$).

When you dock at St. Maarten, there is a little (and I mean little) shopping area there at the dock....all the good stuff is quite a ways away. You have to take a water taxi to the shopping area. I suppose you could walk, but it a really long way if I remember correctly.

Hey everyone,

Well I am actually working today. 2.5 hours to get my office cleared out so I can go on holidays with a clear conscous.....lol....

Quiet on the board today.

Have a great time at the baseball game tonight Bobby and family!!!. I am not a big baseball fan, however we met some friends from Chicago in Detroit and watched the Tigers play the Yankees at Comerica park. What a great place to watch a game.

Well hope to do some more cruise shopping this weekend.

How is everyone else doing today??

We walked it a couple of years ago, and it is a bit far; maybe 15-20 minutes or so. But it's not just the distance, it's a combination of the heat and the fact that St. M is kinda dirty that makes it a less-than-pleasant walk, IMO.


And it's too far to carry back beer!

If your children are under 18, they have to accompanied by an adult...so, you'd have to go back with them and check them back into the club. You can leave them on the ship while you disembark...they'll just have to stay there while you are gone.

Am I going to have to shoo all of you smokers off of deck 7 so I can get some fresh air (where IS that coughing smilie when you need him?)

My DH smokes pipe tobacco cigars, but I am highly allergic and have asthma. needless to say he doesn't smoke in the house, car, around us (well, I guess we don't leave him many options )

SIGH--I guess everyone has to find somewhere to smoke those stinky things.
