Good Morning everyone...

Welcome newbies :grouphug:

Tinberbell_80 can I ask you a question?? I don't seem to be allowed to book excursions etc until Aug 15th which is the 75 day mark I think. Can I ask why you can book on Sat?? I really want to get in on the Parasailing at CC but they told me even If I pay in full now I still can't book until Aug 15th.

Just curious????

We are in for the meet in Epcot, has a time been mentioned????

Have a great day everyone!!!

Excursions can be booked at 90 days out (as well as Palo and the Spa) if you are a repeat cruiser. 60 days if you are a first time cruiser, 105 days if you are a in a suite (concierge) or if you have the Romantic Escape (well Romantic Escape is only the Palo/Spa not excursions as I understand it.)

Ronnie Jo, apparently Disney decided with the new Magic Your Way packages they are trying several options for bookings. Marketing is not releasing "public" discounts because the rooms are filling at AAA and Rack rates. Even AP and FL res rates have been a bit more limited than usual (at least that is what I'm noticing.)

I'm really wondering if they are going to release any discounts for the "public"
If you want me to book a rack rate room for you, and modify it if discounts come out just let me know. I'm happy to do that also.

I cannot WAIT until this cruise. I'm taking Trevor and Tara to WDW next month to celebrate Trevor turning 4 (his birthday is just days after Labor Day so we are going down a few days before Labor Day weekend.) I'm excited about surprising him on the trip!

Thanks for the info SueEllen!

I'll check with Beano and see what he wants to do :cool1:

Hugs,

Hello everyone! Ok, so Shane and I just booked our room, tickets and dining package for the 25th-29th! YEAH!!! We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge as planned and we decided to go with the package so everything was paid for before we came so we had more money for the cruise! WOO HOO!!! ::MinnieMo :earseek: We are so ready to go!!! We are doing the halloween party on the 25th and we may do it on the 27th too, we don't know yet! Anyway, just wanted to catch up to speed with everyone!

Gina ::MickeyMo

:Pinkbounc Yeah!! Gina and Shane are still around! :Pinkbounc

I was beginning to think you'd run away from us crazy folks

Still waiting to hear from Sparrow , Tinkryansmom, pmcougar, Moranclan and zachsmom.

:Pinkbounc Come on ...where you all at?! :Pinkbounc

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

So are the rest of you counting down the days like I am? I'm really excited about taking Trevor back on the cruise. His first cruse was while I was pregnant with him (okay, so it doesn't really count), then he cruised at 13 months and again at 25 months. This will be the first cruise where he was able to go to the Kids Clubs (but boy did he get to know those girls in Flounders ;) )
We went from our kids being at a kid rate and an infant rate to now being child rate and teen rate :earseek:
That's okay though because we are going to have an incredible trip.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all and can't wait for October to get here!!!

Sue Ellen

The food and wine schedule just came out. Is anyone planning on doing the Exquisite Evening at Epcot Dinners on the 27th-A taste of Tuscany or the 28th Bordeaux -French Fatale. Or has anyone ever done one of the dinners in years past? Last year we did a Party for the Senses but we didn't like the cocktail party atmosphere and it seemed way to short. But we sure love the Riedel F&W wine glasses. :drinking: I am leaning towards Bordeaux since we spent most of the late winter/early spring in Tuscany this year.

Sue Ellen: I hate to disagree with you, but according to the Disney web site first time cruisers can book anything at 75 days not 60. I would guess that by 60 days there are probably no more Palo ressies available until we get on board and take our chances. :scared1:

Hockeychic: Like you, we are first timers and would really like to make plans now. The Excursion we booked on St Thomas is not through Disney obviously. :confused3 We did some checking on the Winifred and it sounds like a great adventure. BTW l just got an email from sailjester and Capt Jim says he has availability on Wednesday 11/2. (check out sailjesterdotcom) :jester:

Welcome to all the new cruisers. This is a great place to learn about what we're in for. :disrocks:

Thank you for the correction--that is actually what I meant to type-but I was looking at something else when I was posting. Sorry about that
Guess reading and typing don't go together very well :p

:wave2: Hello All! I have returned!

I ranch sat for the inlaws who were at a conference in Ireland and Scotland and BIL/SIL sailed on the Wonder 7/9 I think. Hotter than heck in Fresno. But the cattle herd is A-OK - even had a way early calf so all is good. And yes, I am racking up the daughter in law suck up points!!

Thanks for missing me RJ!! And thanks for the Antenna Ball!! I just removed my Uncle Sam Mickey today. I think I am going to go with the sunglasses Mickey for awhile. ::MickeyMo

Wow - just caught up through oh...11 pages of posting. I thought I had my curise all lined out...now I have more questions.

Green Shirts: I thought this was a Beano and RJ exclusive - are we supposed to wear them to indicate our DIS thread affiliation? If so, gotta add that to the shopping list...darn it.

Dining Schedule: Anyone hammer out the pirate night, formal night, goofy sleep over party night nights yet?

Limo: I know I have asked this before - which company to use....

Gotta get the updated excursion lists - did y'all get that online at DCL site? I assume it will come with our docs but that seems a little late to me....

Gonna call CostCo travel and make my final payment tonight. WOO HOO
Darn them to heck (censored for younger dis'ers) for not letting me make my palo and excursion ressies now.

Beano & RJ glad you had a great time at D'Land. I hope Chris and Cheri had a blast in Mexico.

OK- Welcome all newbies who have joined us since 6/30 - I am right there with those of you who are wondering if you can keep up with the crowd! I will most likely be the one sleeping under the baby grand in Beano & RJ's suite!! :rotfl: Seriously.

 Johnna...

As for the matching lime green shirts, it's sumthin' we've been doing from the first time we sailed. Many "disers" wear lime green shirts to identify themselves to others in the port. As for if you want to do so (or you may just want to hide in plain sight) :rotfl: that is entirely up to you.

Beano will have to answer the limo question....I just get in and sit down :cool1:

If you party too much you are more than welcome to sleep under our piano :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: funny thing is....you probably won't be the only one!!!!

Come on!!! You can keep up!!!! :goodvibes

RonnieJo - Get pics, looks like you guys had a blast :flower: Now I'm even MORE excited for the cruise :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

My Mom is in Florida this weekend and is going to go drool over the cruise ships while she's there :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Sarah

Hey everyone...ya it is the weekend

Pictures look great, looks like you had a awesome time.

I thought the lime green shirts where for everyone who posts on these boards. We wore lime green the first time we went to disney and met a few diser's. We haven't worn them for awhile but figured at the port we would stand out as a family from these boards. I hope that was OK.

So how many weeks away??? 15 I think.......can't wait

Is anyone travelling with DS's who are in the 10/11/12 year old range. My dear son will be 11 and wanted me to ask. :) He loves meeting new people.
