The concierge lounge area is located in the very front of the port next to the food area. Look towards the windows that you can see the ship through...it's pretty much just a little area with some couches.(right next to the Mickey Ears archway)

Welcome newbies!!! And can I just say...I love that beer song! I had a pretty interesting weekend myself. Spent the entire weekend drinking and hanging out with Shane (the gay best friend). Theres a surprise right? Since we are attached at the hip! I have to work up my tolerance for the cruise so you all don't think I am a lightweight! LOL!

Morning All !!! 2 days left until we leave for the beach @ Oceanside . I can't wait !!!
I've been off work for the last 5 days, I stepped on some broken tile and sprained my rt. ankle and knee, I go back to the doctor today to see if I'll be released back to work. I think one more week off ought to do the trick.
Guess I'll be spending most my day in the waiting room.

Don't know if this has been asked yet, but anyone staying the night before at the HYatt ? We will be, but don't know our flight times yet. We are waiting to get a deal, but they are few and far between here in the midwest. As a last resort we will book through priceline, but that means staying over in Orlando another night.

A 4 year old little boy died after riding Mission:Space today How terrible.
I love that ride, but this makes me think the thrill is not worth the risks to the younger riders.


I think I am finally ready for my upcoming camping trip. I never knew camping could cost as much as a cruise! Yikes. I have been spending a fortune! Oh well. After that, it's Disneyland (like that'll be cheap, huh?), then the cruise is next! Guess I better work a little in between there. Having fun is expensive, ain't it?

Well it's 5 more days off ! I guess I'll just HAVE to nurse my ankle on the beach and soak it in the jacuzzi .

Pacha we have a reservation at the Raddisson the night before the cruise , but I'm thinking of doing priceline and see if I can get a better deal a little closer to the trip. I'm not sure where we'll stay on thursday but after being at MNSSHP for the day I'm sure we'd crash just about anywhere. I'll probably priceline that too. I too am waiting for airfare deals and for Southwest to open more booking dates.

I read about the boy on Mission Space. I cannot imagine what that mother must be going through, and the guilt she must feel.

Well, we're less than a month from our July 9th West Coast cruise, and we're starting to get excited. Just waiting for docs now, everything else is already booked and ready to go. The new online booking stuff is great, don't have to run to the concierge to book anything on board.

Beano, you will be pleased to know that my first task once I get to 8102 is to check for your sticker!! What are the odds that it's still there?

Looking forward to this Father's day weekend...it'll be the usual get-together and about 16 hours of U.S. Open golf for me!!

Sue Ellen : I hope that the mom is not letting guilt overcome her. They say, so far, that the boy had no pre-existing conditions, and he met the height requirement, so she didn't do anything wrong. Still, that doesn't ease the pain of her tragic loss. I can't ( and don't want to) even imagine it. Prayers to her and the family!!

Luckey: I hope your ankle heals quickly. enjoy the beach- but take it easy walking in the sand - very hard on sore ankles. I guess DH will have to carry you!!

The more posts I read the more overwhelmed I am feeling. How am I going to remember everything????? Unfortunately, I am the only planner in the family and it is all going to fall on my shoulders. Does anyone have any suggestions for making sure everything is taken care so that I don't come down with pre-cruise meltdown???? Don't worry....I am still as excited as ever!
