Zoophonics are a teaching technique to teach pre-school kids the sounds letters make...

such as :

Allie alligator lives in a "A" and says ....ah

I have graduated many students who are reading before kindergarten....guess it works huh

ok..here is a question I need answered quick and my favorite BIL is not around to answer...are you all staying at the Radisson?? ( well, I think Beano and RJ are at WDW??) anyway..the Radisson has a "Cruise Package" that is $139.00 a night and free parking for the week..they also will take you to the ship on the shuttle..anyone done this??

Yep, we've stayed at the Radisson a few times before the cruises. We've usually paid around $95.00 per night, but we don't need parking. So, I'd say $139.00 is pretty good; that's about 40 bucks or so to park, which is reasonable. It's a really nice place to stay, and the shuttle ride is a mere 5 minutes to the port! If you stay there, don't forget to try the pizza at Kelseys!

For Beano, I thought...let's put together Kingsburg and beans. HMMM.... farmer. But the "works with people" is throwing me.... works with people doctor, works over people professional debt collector , works on people counselor... Am I close yet!!?

Chris is corporate...went to NY...lives in SD... and plays soccer...Paris Hilton's PR manager!!

Me, not as exciting. I stay home - OK supposed to stay home - and am paying for my cruise with my home business. Yep, think stay at home mom direct sales type thing.

My man Tim the tarzanman works for a Fortune 500 (or are they Fortune 100 ?) company, and I dare not say much more so y'all can guess just what that job is.

Chris, put a sock in it buddy! You already know who he works for. Suffice it to say that while this conglomerate peddles its wares around the globe, it's guys like Tim who keep their assets flowing in positive directions... Ok, n'uff said. What does he do????

Don't worry, Beano. If you have seen the July 9th thread that started this whole thing, you'll know that I've had more than enough of the whole "What's My Line?" thingy. Lordy, that produced almost 50 posts in one day!!! Sheesh!!

Have a good weekend everyone. We were supposed to go to Lancaster again for Timmy's soccer, but that got rained out. That's the good news. The bad news is that a rain-out only postones the inevitable: a fun-filled weekend in beautiful, exciting, cultured Lancaster.

Well we're off to the "Disney blowout store" today. They open up a temporary storefront and sell all the closeout stuff from Disneyland at ridiculously low prices!

Shirts that were originally $50 sell for 10 bucks, etc. Ronnie goes nuts in there!

I went to the Disney Store this weekend and got Kate Disney jammies for next winter. I also got her pictures taken at Sadies for spring...gee, what happened to my baby??
