Hey I made it to page 38.....shhhhhh should have been working. :badpc:

Morinclan: Those door magnets look amazing....I would love one ;)

I have also been reading about halloween trick or treating for the kids of DIS?? Where is that usually done....maybe I will find the info on my next power read of posts. :rotfl:

DH will be glad to know there are beer drinkers aboard....his beverage of choice. I prefer fruity drinks with little umbrella's

Oh and before I forget can I get on the diamond shopping tour......but don't tell DH :rolleyes1

Have a great afternoon all.

Kim

Hey all,

Hope everyone is having a good week. I'm in Amsterdam on business, though it's not that bad since the weather is gorgeous here. Looking forward to our West Coast Magic cruise in less than two weeks, which, of course, is good "practice" for the October 29th one.

Chris

Kim - You sound like us; I am a beer drinker, DW RonnieJo likes 'foofy' drinks with umbrellas in them! Sailaway drinks with rum floaters, right Ronnie? :goodvibes

Chris - I hope you guys have a great cruise! Haven't heard from either of you in a while... where's Cheri hidin'? :earsboy:

'Beano'

That's us too Beano--DH Steve is the beer drinker...I do fruity drinks or wine. More than likely on the cruise it will be mostly wine. I can't even count how many of those big DCL beer mugs we have here.

Sue Ellen

I was wondering :confused3 for those of you who are going to WDW first, how are you getting to the ship? I am debating between using DCL buses and a private Limo. Any thoughts? Also what time are you planning on getting to the ship?

Thanks,

Kurt

Kurt : One word:

LIMO!!

I have always felt pretty strongly about this, personally. The DCL buses are just as expensive as a private towncar, and only a little less than a limo!! It is SO worth it for the privacy, comfort, and 'personal timetable' of a limo. It's ready when you are, not the other way around. After we have flown all the way from the west coast, the comfort of the limo is priceless. :)

As for arrival time - we like to be to the port by around 11:30 or so, sometimes even earlier! But if you don't care about waiting in line, or the atmosphere of all the exicited people waiting to board, you can arrive as late as 2:00 or 3:00 and just walk right on!

'Beano'

I did it :cool1: Finally caught up on this thread.....is it October yet????

There seems to be alot people with the letter K or C. I would like to add to that group.

Me - Kim
DS Kevin - 16
DD Kaitlyn - 13
DH is Mike.

Ronnie, I read that you have a list of the names of people who will be cruisin' with us all. Will you be able to post the list or even as it gets closer to the cruise. It is great that you have done that, it will be nice to put names and faces together. :grouphug:

There is sooo much to remember, I better start writing this down :earseek:

I do have a question however, are you allowed to bring outside drinks on board, alcohol, and soft drinks?? Just to have in the cabin??? I saw this posted elsewhere but there was no answer. :drinking1

Have a great day everyone!!!

Oh forgot to mention we would also be arriving a bit early. We arrive at MCO at 9:30AM on the 27th staying at Movies. We are planning on MGM in the day, DTD at night then on Friday we will go to Epcot. Gotta try Soarin' and food and wine festival :dancer: :dancer:

We planned on getting to the Port fairly early on the Saturday. We are renting a car so we will have to leave time to drop that off and then we will take in the MAGIC :wizard:

Kim: yes I have been trying to keep a master list running. As long as it's alright with everyone else I can publish all the names etc. when our cruise time gets closer. To answer your question re: bringing your own alcohol...yes you sure can. We have purchased beer etc. in many ports in the past. I have also seen many a person carry it on (or wheel it on) at port. Shouldn't be a problem.

 We'll it's happened!!! Beano & I are now the proud parents of 2 TEENAGERS!!!!! :rotfl2:

:bday: HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY TO OUR DD KIMBERLY!! :bday: :cake: :cake: :cake:

You folks are gonna have to keep us on page 1 of the boards while we're gone to Disneyland. Leaving tomorrow early am.....coming back on the 5th.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July!

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Oh certainly if people don't mind.

Great, we wanted to bring some stuff onboard to have in our cabin.

Answer question ;) Other girl in my office taking a cruise through Disney in Feb. She was wondering if you go to a dinner sittiing....can you also order room service later in the evening if you get hungry????

Oh.....I forgot to mention...we have the late dinner seating too.

Is there a thread somewhere that the kids who are going are posting on. My kids are interested in chatting with some fellow cruisers. I have mentioned it before but they are DS 16 well actually he doesn't turn 16 till July 4th. and DD13.

Oh I can't wait for this cruise!!!!.... Is it October yet.

Ronnie and Beano....have a great time in Disneyland!!!!!! And happy birthday to Kimberly :bday: :bday:

P-Dawg - My Dh and I ride also... what kind of bike do you have?? We have a Honda Magna (I think I am sellling mine however) that is mine and DH has a Yamaha Yirago 1100. But he really wants a sports bike but not until he increases his life insurance ...lol :moped:

Kim
