Betsy, beautiful dress, is it floor lengh or cocktail length???

Mine is only cocktail length and burgandy, but DD is floor length and black.
I may still go shopping yet...

Oh I am so ready to go.....why it is taking so long.....can we go now...huh, huh...how about now....are we there yet.....she is looking out my window. he's touching me....I have to go to the bathroom, I am thirsty, I'm hungry.....OK I am finished now...

34 days from now I will be at the wonderful Swan for the first time. Maybe some of you experts can tell me a little bit about it. I am open to any insider tips.

Here's a question. If we only do one park, one day...which one should I choose.

DD only child if she starts with "he/she's touching me" I guess I gotta problem.

Well, good thing is they don't do that anymore. Now one puts on the MP3 player and the other the CD walkman and we get to hear them sing...not sure which is worse...

My kids are great to...so far....

6 weeks from right now aren't we on one of the Islands???? St Thomas I think so I will be on tour with Sunny and bling bling shopping.

5 weeks from right now I will be on tower of terror for the umpteenth time with a little Rock and Roller coaster thrown in....lol

Beautiful dress. I have not yet decided which to wear (I have one and bought another and can't decide which one to wear now.)

Tara's skirt is tulle like yours Ronnie Jo. It's a 2 piece formal with a lace up back.
Trevor's little tux fits--now just to figure out what shoes to get for him (I'm not going to do much for the shoes because he will likely only wear them a couple of times, including Christmas.)

Can't wait!!! 5 weeks 2 days and I'll be at the Boardwalk.

Southwest called to change our departure flight--now it's an hour earlier so we have to leave the house by 4:00 a.m. at the LATEST to get to the airport on time. SIGH!

Need some help from those of you on the left coast please...

I have never been to CA and it looks as if I will be going the week before we cruise (OH NO! how am I ever going to get packed and ready?!!)

So anyway, looks as if I'll be out there the 3rd week of October (and only getting home a day and a half before we leave for WDW and the cruise. I have NO idea what the weather is like temperature wise, or how to prepare. Here at home it's still in the 90's right now, but by mid October it should be in the high 70's to low 80's.
What is the weather like near LA and Disneyland for this time of year? Should I pack a jacket? Shorts? I just don't know.

Needless to say I'm in a logistical nightmare now. I have to prepare for that, get work pre-done earlier than originally planned, PACK and get the kids ready for the cruise.

HELP PLEASE!!!

Hi Sue Ellen....


Being that Disneyland is about 4 hours from Beano & I , I believe that we can answer your questions.

Los Angeles-Anaheim area weather is ususally pretty mild. Depending on how you judge what "cool" is. I would bring a few paris of shorts/capris and at least one lightweight jacket. The eveninings get cool in my opinion. Daytime will most likely be t-shirt weather. Anaheim averages temps in the upper 60's for that particualr time of the year.

Nothing to add to above post - RonnieJo has it covered very well. The nights do tend to cool down quite a bit. Capris are very popular.

My 9 yr. old hates it when anybody sings so I get her fighting with her sisters because they love to sing. Sounds like we all get the petty fights. Of course, they don't think it's petty at all.

Did everybody see that Jet Blue emergency landing? Hope there are lots more pilots like him in the world. He did an Excellent job.

Survivor Fantasy is up and running on the CBS site if anyone's interested. Each tribe fits about 8 people. We could have our own Cruise Tribe.

The first thing you do when you get in the room...LAY ON THE BED. It's heavenly. Truly. This is my favorite place to stay (other than WL) and I've stayed in most every hotel in DW. Love it. Love it. Love it!!!!

It's a working/learning experience. The only problem is that as it looks right now I won't get home until late on the 26th and we have to leave for the airport at 4:00 A.M. on the 28th!!!

I'm hoping the weather is nice. Anything below 74° is a bit cool for me so I will be sure to bring a jacket.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I didn't post this morning, we got bad news from our neighbour last night. Their little 4 year old son has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, I can't remember the name of the type he has but Dad says it doesn't look good. They only found it because he was constipated, they found a mass and investigated from there, they have also found it on his kidney and on his knee and hip. This all started mid August, actually the day before my friend Nancy passed. However, we had been hoping for the best but the results came in on Tues. This year has been horrible.....I am trying hard to still be looking forward to this cruise but it is hard knowing what my neighbours are going through. I have lost 4 friends, 1 of my daughters teachers and now this...and this is all since April. Things have got to start getting better don't they.

Please any pixie dust, prayers..anything you can send his way would be greatly appreciated. We aren't giving up hope...someone has to beat this disease....and it is going to be Kyle.

Sorry for the downer, I just had to get it off my chest....
