Cheri..

Ah, the sweet smell of the Kona Cafe in the mornin'! Pina Coladas by the volcano pool and the parade on the water in the lagoon. Yup, I'm there!
Don't forget the pineapple bread from Ohana!! That is how I say "GOOD MORNING!"
We stayed at the Poly when the volcano pool was being built...every morning, Kate and I had breakfast while the stucco guys "made" the mountain. Love the Poly, but WL is my "home"

Morning all!
Just having a cup of coffe in the quiet...DH just left for duty and Kate is still asleep...Need to get movin..have to load up on cold medicine so I don't hack through church!

I'm not either, but I've vowed to do it just for the experience. AND, who says you have to stay for the 2 hours. Eat your meal and leave and go somewhere else for dessert.

Barb, we are so not leaving. We have to try the desserts that everyone raves about. :cake:

You might as well be driving one of these. It would be cheaper to run. I'm pretty sure they use diesel. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Barb, I don't believe that Hummer you're driving uses diesel either. Does it? Get off your high horse, Babsy!! :rotfl2: You know I love ya'

I don't think that you understand what we are talking about here. Palo is for dessert. Unless you have fabulous chocolate suffles at home all the time and you sick of them. It is something worth getting. You can always tell your waiter when you get to Palo that you, unfortunately, do not have a whole lot of time to just sit and chill. I am sure that they could accomodate you. They do for everything else. Just tell them that you want the Filet Mignon, however you want it (well done is gonna keep you there longer), and the Souffle for dessert. Ronnie would suggest ordering a side of a certain pasta dish to split. I can't remember the name of it but it is worth trying as well.

Good luck!

tarzanman is correct. Palo is all about the desserts!

I like to have the filet, with a little bleu cheese sprinkled over the top.
And of course a souffle for dessert, with 100% chocolate sauce! :cool1:
(They usually pour half chocolate/half vanilla, but I prefer all chocolate).
If I had to choose one or the other, I would skip dinner and go to brunch... but me thinks I'll do both instead!

Hey! Stop it now. That's the DHs. I'm the environmental activist in the family driving the Hybrid. I love my hybrid and so doesn't the environment. :)

Will they roll all of us out the door individually after dinner, or do they wait for the boat to shift and we all roll out together. :rotfl:

Barb - They have double-wide doors on all the restaurants for a reason! :rotfl2:

I could barely fit through them last year, and I'm bringing an extra 30 or 40 pounds this year. I guess maybe I'll only have 2 entrees at dinner instead of 3 this time. :guilty:

Happy Sunday everyone!!! :flower:

Getting really excited now....Is it time to go??? ;)

I am jealous, my friend left on her Hawaii cruise today. :cheer2:

I am so ready to start packing.... Hey Tim done any packing yet??? I have not. :p I will start soon.

OK, is it time to go now :rolleyes1

Betsy: I hope you are feeling better soon. I think summer colds are worse then winter colds. :grouphug:

Have a great night everyone.

Kim

Kim - Summer colds?? WAY worse than winter ones, IMO.

And... (Keep these between us!! Don't tell your friend!!!!)

You have nothing to be jealous of! Disney cruises are tons better than NCL Hawaii cruises. Beano promises! :goodvibes

I have been on 3 NCL cruises, and my dad went on the Pride of Aloha. Then, he and I compared notes. Disney wins!! :sunny:

Seriously, you just can't compare the 2. DCL is SO much better. I'm sure your friends will have a great time. We'll just have a better one. ;)

It would seem to me ONLY if you have Medical issues/ mediactions etc, bUT id love to know As i was NOT planning on FILLing one out for Hubby>

 Hi All...

As far as the forms go...a form has to be filled out for each passenger! Kids as well as adults. The medical form only needs to be filled out if you have an existing condition.

Hey everyone....don't forget to get your pics posted on SoccerMom-Cheri's pic page!!!

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower:

Hey Tim!! Looks like we are gonna have to email McAlpin about this nonsense of the Magic docking at the new dock in St. Thomas, far and away from Charlotte Amalie. Gotta pay a taxi, each way? Can't walk to the Paradise Point tram? And the Magic is the ONLY ship docking there?

That won't do. Tom, are you reading this??? This is definitely below the Disney standard.

I don't know how to post a pic :guilty: :badpc: On the other hand I am here in Myrtle Beach, SC for the next couple of weeks anyhoo, so don't have any good pics with me. Still would like to see all of you guys though, if someone could tell me what to do. Weather very windy today, but they think the storm is not really going to be bad here afterall, but could hit NC with a gusto. I have enjoyed reading all of the old posts, I am up to page 100 now. You guys really seem like a bunch of good people, and for some of you a group of really caring, close friends. It's nice to see there are still good people in the world.

Rachel: Trust me, you don't have to spend 2 hours to have a nice dinner and dessert at Palo, oops almost put Palo's, (don't hurt me Beano) but I really think you can't have that full Magic experience :wizard: without going there, IMO. I don't see you regretting it.

Betsy, hope you feel better soon.

Lynne :earsgirl:
Tenor :rolleyes1
