You know...come to think of it...snakes in the water gives whole new meaning to "please keep your hands inside the ride at all times"

:scared: :faint:

That is just not right. :sad2: Although I must say, smart snakes. (ok wait then I would have to admit snakes have brains....nope not going there...intelligent snakes...scary) How about lucky snakes....they live at disney.

But, you know, paying thousands of dollars....um....seeing snakes would just about ruin it for me.

Espeically since this 6 day WDW trip is costing more than my 7 day cruise. And I LOVED my cruise. hmmm....

May be my first and last trip to WDW. Can I carry my machete on the airplane or will I need to check it at the curb!?

I have seen a snake in the lazy river at BB twice.

Snake on the sidewalk at BB once near the kiddie area

Snake on the steps going to the slides at BB

Snake on the fence near BCV

Snake on a bench at AK

Snake in the water at the end of Splash Mountain (acutally my 3 year old pointed it out)

Snake in the pool at CSR

I HATE snakes. One of the snakes in the lazy river swam right past me

OK- I repeat...WHAT THE....

SNAKES!!? On a bench, on the rides, IN THE HOTEL ROOMS... :scared1: :scared: :faint:

Thats it I am cancelling my trip. And people actually like WDW better than DLR? Hello....Good Lord I thought most of the US was, you know, like civilized. Alas, I have apparently overestimated Floridas abilities. SNAKES!?

You've got to be kidding me. It will be just my luck to find the rogue cottonmouth in my hotel room when I check in. Then I would be checking out. Beano style. One guy actually used his pillow case to "escort" the snake out of his room. UH...HELLOWW.... HELL....NO! I am not going.

Did I mention...I HATE SNAKES

WHAT????????????????? I DON'T DO SNAKES!

relax cheri...

TRM is just trying to tell herslef these things so she isn't sad about missing Disney...

I have lived in Florida my entire life and have only seen a snake once..when I was 8...

Um...my friend just called...anyone want a tee time at Augusta?

are you kidding? you are joking, right? I happen to know two people who would give their right ... well, they'd give something to play there.

Nice try Bets - but um...not really gonna miss Florida in July. And um...unless these people were group hallucinating at different times and different places...
there be snakes in WDW. And that just ain't right I say.

Cheri...you wanna borrow my machete!?

Little black racer snakes are one thing. But Cottonmouths, water moccasins and coral snakes. Totally different ballgame. And TRM ain't interested.

Besides, most of the people reported seeing snakes in the summer. And I am clearly going in the Fall. Summer...in Florida...not me man. Too many snakes. :teeth: Oh yeah and its hot and humid. :teeth:

Hmmm...tee time seems like a wanted item...shall we start the bidding at $1000???

TRM - snakes like heat...they go out in the fall...they need to be in the sun...enjoy your time in Florida

ps - still..never seen a snake...and my backyard has a lake.

OH...NOOOOOOO

Did someone say...monkey???

Well, I think it was somewhere between 102 and 104 here today. The pool is like soup...it's a balmy 90 degrees. Miss Judit sez it aint "refreshing" anymore.

We leave for Floryduh on Saturday. One night at the Nickelodean Hotel, then transfer Sunday to the time-share. Saralinda doesn't know we are going to the Nick hotel, she will be soooo excited!!!

We have only been to WDW 2 times, and both times we never went to a waterpark. I thought we would do that this time, since this is the first time we will be there for more than 3 days. Can anyone recommend which one we should go to, and if they know of a way to get a discount ticket for it????

Hi EVERYONE!~~ :wave2:

Are you talking Disney water parks or Wet N Wild?

Disney doesnt discount the waterparks that I know of..maybe after 3pm..Wet N Wild has discounts..they are in books that you can find at any McDonalds

Your going to be there for a week?

Hi Tenor!

Typhoon Lagoon is definitely better for smaller kids. Not as many wild slides, etc. That seems to be the consensus anyway!

Hi Betsy :wave2:

Any good waterpark would do....We will be there for 9 days. 1 day at the Nick, and then transfer to our timeshare for 1 week. 22-30. Aren't you going to be wherever you are going for a week too???

Nope...3 days for me!

I can't afford to go for a week...cause you know..I forgot to mention, I am going on the beeg floaty ting in 74 days!!

:surfweb: Mornin' Friends

It's been hotter than heck here :sunny: "I'm melting...melting"

Starting to get things organized for our trip: must get suitcases out, order a mail hold, stop the newspaper, take pets to kennel....all things like that.

What else y'all know? Whose been doing what? :confused3 Do tell...

where have you been!! I have MISSED you!!

I postponed my jury duty till August..made my boss happy...

Johnna - snakes are not in Florida!! At least I have never seen one at Disney and I have been about 100 times!! I swear!!!
