Tim left for Florida this morning... ..lots of tears shed last night and this morning. It's crazy weird around here.

Saralinda did not get into the magnet school. I called to find out why, so maybe we could do something different for next year. She needed 20 points from her testing to get in, she got 18 points... ....I think she would have been fine there, I mean they only spent 20 minutes with her, how much can you tell in 20 minutes??? So, next on the list is St. Alcuin's. Her tryout with them is on this Thursday. They are a little more thorough though. She goes up there at 8:00 in the morning, and stays until 3:15. The little girl I used to nanny for went there, it's a great school too, just not free like the magnet school was.

No transcribing until later tonite, and then she has emailed me that rest of the week, in her words, would be "crazy busy"....leave it to me to pick a "rush" company. All my files are turn-around times of anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. You can be in the middle of one and they will start IMing ya, "PAT, PAT..." (present audio time). I have been lucky though, they have only PAT'ed me 2 times, and the first time I had just sent it to them, and the second time...still had a minute and 7 seconds left. Told me to stop it and just send it on...It's just nuts. I mean if they start IM'ing ya, you have to stop and answer the IM, which of course slows ya down...they don't seem to get that ..Plus if you have to stop and do research (sometimes I have to google the company and look up the CFO or the CEO to know how to spell it), that's a minute maybe 2 out of that 5 minute turn around time. Just plain nuts!!! Oh well, it is one of the few companies that will hire you based on your performance and typing speed. Most of the other WAH transcription jobs require 2 years of CURRENT experience.

We still plan on coming to see you in Vegas, when and if things start to improve job wise. I don't really gamble (Tim loves blackjack) but I love to watch the shows.

SHEEESH!!!...I certainly don't know - I'm the last one to know anything around here anymore...nobuddy tells me nuttin, barely anyone talks to me anymore ...unless she is talking about you saying that you hated her, but she said she hated you first, and then you said that you would hock a loogie in her taters...but no, no idea.....

RJ - our district is star testing too. Is that a statewide week? I so hope Kimmy does not get sick.

Brainstorm: Ophie and Tim should buy the house next door to RJ and Beano!! Boy am I smart or what? Sometimes I scare myself.

I can move into Cheri's neighborhood since I love San Diego and then - Betsy and Tenny can live in Florida. Luckey...hhmm.. I guess Luckey has to be in Las Vegas so we can go and play there! And T&P have to move to Las Vegas also. Lotsa plumbing there. Wow-glad I got that all figured out.

Ok - so my best friend is a disney freak - good thing I don't know many of those....so she is telling me about VMK and how she is stuck on a quest. I says, friend, I created a little character but never played the game. never got it. So she has me check the disboard for some info and now....yep...I have been playing for like 2 hours. And I am stuck on a quest. And she calls herself my best friend. Although she did bring me an oriental chicken salad today for lunch. So maybe...I will let her off the hook.

Making mac and cheese from scratch tonight. In search of the perfect recipe you know. Check in for surgery 7:15 tomorrow morning. AACK. Can't I come in around 9? But I guess, technically, I do get to go back to sleep. So I guess that is OK. In a way. I guess.
