I know (comma) I know!!!!...and really (comma) all things considered (comma) who could blame them????? :confused3

So what is it exactly? Is it a rolly coaster?

not gonna tell ya!

you are hereby assigned to a ride report...150 words or less on Exped. Everest. On the thread..by 8am tomorrow!!!

Pssst Tenor: It's a new ride at Animal Kingdom. They have a Yeti inside I think his name is Beano :lmao: .

Ha! This is in my church bulletin this week. Every week they give you a hint about a member and you have to guess.
At the time this happened, he was not serving in the military nor was he a field reporter for network news. Do you know who was tied up and held hostage at gunpoint for two days during the Iranian hostage incident? He was ultimately rescued by the Bahamian “Defense Force.” The island where he was held captive is now known as “Castaway Cay”—the island stopover for the Disney cruises.

well...that just goes to show you how out of touch I am, I do not even know what the Expedition Everest is :confused3

Hi Sean and Linda!!!

Everest is awesome!!! You guys are going to love it!!!!

 Hey all

Second from the bottom will never do. :sad2:

Passport Weekend was a 3 case success. See, we brought home 3 cases of wine. The futures won't be ready until September. :sad2:

Um, honey, wine fridge only holds like 32 bottles.... :teacher:

Neil is currently sitting on a United flight bound for Osaka, Japan. He called to say he would be enjoying the company of Zach, a lovely 1 1/2 year old boy, for the next 15 hours. :lmao: :rotfl2: Along with Zachs mom and grandmother. :thumbsup2

Poor man. :sad2: Bet he wishes he had 3 cases of wine! :rotfl:

Found the perfect color paint for my master bathroom :thumbsup2 :bounce: 5 colors later. In case you forgot, I like to paint and do other changes to the house while Neil travels. Gots me a long list this time since he will be gone all week.

It's Quiet Moments for master bathroom, Pueblo Brown in kitchen, Bridle brown for arch in Master Bedroom into master bathroom and new slate for around the fireplace. Oh and Devonshire Cream for the Family Room with the archs painted in Table Mountain Green. :thumbsup2

Now...anybody know how to rip tile off of a wall and replace it with slate!? :rotfl: :rolleyes2 Guess I shoulda thought of that before I bought the slate...hhmm.. horse before cart problem I guess. Should be fun. Gonna lay the slate out tonight. And pick grout out tomorrow! :thumbsup2

Tonight its repaint the "accent wall" in the office. I hate the color it is. Estate Garden green ain't gonna cut it. Gonna go with Yucca Valley green instead. So no accent wall in office. OH well.

Ok - enough rambling. At least we are off the bottom of the page! :thumbsup2

Johnna:

Wishing we lived closer to each other....then we could help each other paint! Let me know how the tiling goes :)

I am waiting for tile guy to call tomorrow....I wanna get the kitchen re-grouted (it's a really out-dated colored grout from original owner...very 90's. ok, so it's mauve :crazy2: yes people I said mauve grout) I wonder all the time "what was she thinking???" :confused3

Estimate, estimate.........who's got the estimate?! :lmao:

Luckey:

A cup!? No...no spare water here.

I'll see what I can scrounge from the emergency flood agency over by the freeway.

BTW:

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY

Sorry, I was outta town and missed the party! MMMM...Knott's Fried Chicken!

Ice Skating: Olympic Village Park. Squaw Valley USA The original olympic ice skating rink is open to the public at the "high camp". It's half way up the ski mountain. Apparently the girl scouts have a day event there this summer. (The ice is now covered by a green house type glass roof) And we are signed up to go. Don't know if we will get in but signed up. You could take Cassie any old time, it does not have to be a special event. You and DH could go snowboarding while Cassie skates her magnifico self around the ice. :thumbsup2

 :cheer2: YAY!! :cheer2:  It's raining again!! But even better its super windy too! I love it. NOT.

Off to paint now. Will post pictures for you RJ when I am done. Gonna pick out grout for fireplace project too. I was thinking mauve! ;)

Nope, not yet....

Guy comes Thursday. Hopefully it can be done for a reasonable amount :thumbsup2

How is the fireplace tiling going?

OH SNAP!!

OK - thought I had Yucca Valley Green for repainting of accent wall in office. After painting said wall and letting it dry....I have Joshua Tree Green.

So much for being done in this room.

Here I was all thinking "who cares if I slop paint onto the other walls while I paint the corners. It's the same color paint."

And, of course, I have none Yucca Valley Green. :rolleyes2

Off to Kelly Moore I go. :furious: :sad2:

DOUBLE SNAP

OK- just laid out the tile for the fireplace....I need 16 whole tiles and 5 - 4 inch pieces to finish the hearth portion.

I ordered 20 pieces of tile, 2 boxes. According to tile guy 20% breakage still leaves me OK to complete the job.

Um...yep...

Laid out tile...I have 8, yes, 8 whole, useable, non-broken tiles. 8. total. 6 tiles are so broken up they are in no way useable. and 6 are broken in some form that if used for the 4 inch pieces its OK.

8 *&%$#@* tiles!! :furious:
