Johnna:

Yes, tropical is a must! The backyard is more tropical than the front........to make the front yard tropical, I'd have to re-do the whole thing  heep big 'spensive! So will settle fer accent touches!

I'd do a 3 mile....do they offer a walk? 2 years ago I got the silver medal in The Swedish Festival 2 mile walk (time of 28:09...that was for my age grouping btw) :scratchin Hmmm, now that I am older...wonder how I would do  :lmao:

Big bad trees in front yard and now um...a pile of branches and stumps :thumbsup2 There is a beeg stump grinder out there! Guess we'll have to be taking a trip to the nursery to lookie for replacement palms and things of that nature.

Bets: where you at? :confused3

I love wandering around the nursery - that will be fun. Be sure to dress in safari clothes topped off with a pith helmet. :thumbsup2

And yes, you can walk the 5K. My mom will be joining us and is going to walk it. Neil and I are gonna run it. OK - attempt to run it. My goal is 10 minute miles which should be doable. :scratchin I think. Not so much in good shape like I useta be.

Gonna call the "Marathon Weekend" hotline and see if I can get in at DL hotel. Website is saying all on property hotels are full.....Might have to book something else and wait. If I'm gonna run a 5K, I want a great hotel room dammit!!

Yeah...where is Bets? And Cheri? BTW I am not a WINO!! I prefer martinis. :snooty:

:cheer2: :woohoo: WOO WHOOO :cheer2: :woohoo:

I am officially registered for the Disneyland 5K September 16, 2005.

Neil is running too and mom will walk it. Ryan will either walk with Grandma or watch with Grandpa or ride in running stroller with someone. She is registered to run the 4-6 year old 200 yard dash.

Should be a blast.

Come on...run...you know you want too.... :hyper:

Boy I am all Disneyfied today. Just requested the brochure be faxed to order my brick for the Magical Memories Walk/Path thingy, signed up to run 5K ,printed MORE info on Tokyo Disney :scared: and listened to "Yo Mickey". WHEW I am tired.

Finally gonna get that done. :thumbsup2

Now...to think of something clever to say..... :scratchin

RJ - You go on safari to find new plants? Or is it raining in the burg of Kings?

Johnna:

Nope, no plant/tree searching right now...........

:scared:  :umbrella: Scary evil looking rain clouds outside!

I a'thinkin it's gonna pour here pretty soon..........ok, I am tired of the winter nasties! I am ready for spring and summer baby :sunny: :thumbsup2

AMEN!!

DD is sharing our cruise DVD with her playmate. :goodvibes She just loves the part where the chipmunk tries to steal the pretty princess away and the prince says, "you can't afford her". :rotfl2:

"that's RonnieJO" "that's Beano - he made this movie" "He can't afford her" :lmao:

"it's a free ride, when you've already paid" "and who would have thought, it figures"

We gotta do that again!!

You're not alone, Betsy!

Caff-Betsy is here....slurping coffee by the potfull!

Well THANK THE LORD!!

I was afraid I was talking to myself, but now that Caff-Betsy is here...Jojo in hand...we can PARTY!

OK- somebody help me!!

I have a planning obsession....

If DH is going to conference at Orange County Convention Center in Nov. 2006 and is traveling on company dime...where should we stay?

OK add to that, my dad is planning on joining us for trip to WDW - which means two rooms.

DH usually stays nice places - hilton etc. But Dad will not want to pay for Hilton :crazy2:

Can we drive to WDW pretty easily Mon - Thursday but stay based near convention center? Then move to onsite for Thursday - Sunday?? Thinking of renting DVC points or ??? Pop Resorts are more in Dads price range. :confused3

Then add to that broski, SIL and DD may join us....he is military. Maybe Shades of Green? But hate to book that and have him leave us hanging as is his MO...

OK....discuss!!

:scared:  :crowded:
