OMG...ifin I knew Family Stone was going to be so sad...would have picked something else!!!! Was already weepy yesterday as it was....I have been promising to clean out the "closet from hell" for almost a year now. Got on one of those tangents yesterday and did it. I guess the reason I had been holding off was I knew there were going to be some emotional things in there....so kept putting off....Now, why I picked yesterday, I'll never know, but once I started...I just couldn't stop. But lots of emotional things in there I found..sat down and cried for about a good 10 minutes....maybe I shouldn't say what I found...don't wanna bring everyone down....and then that movie..oy vey!..and this is Tim's first Christmas without his mom, so we were BOTH sitting there bawling thru some of it!!!!...oh well...not really sorry I saw it, it was fabulous acting and good story, some really funny parts...maybe it was a little cathartic for both of us. Maybe shoulda waited until after Christmas though. Who knew???
On the plus side though..I found the picture of me and Rosie O'Donnell...been looking for....for awhile now.
I would just like to take a moment and thank the ref's for the Cowboys win today
Happy Birthday to Ryan...hope you got our card, and Saralinda is going to try and call you later.
MUCH LOVE TO ALL MY PEEPS...on this Christmas Eve. We have church tonight as there is no church tomm. I actually did make my audition to be in the performance, but they had a CRAZY rehearsal schedule (I mean this IS church people, I am not sure as a RT I rehearsed that much for Internationals...but close though) and a couple of rehearsals that were mandantory. One of which was the night my daughter had HER very first Christmas show performance at school...and well....I chose her!!!! She was soooo cute..They all were. They were doing a parody of 12 days of Christmas...doing it Texas style (think armadillo's and line dancing)...still have 5 golden rings though..and they would jumble through all of the words...then get to 5 golden rings and then all of a sudden all start singing out loudly "5 GOLDEN RINGS"...then get garbled again. My little ham and 3 others started the show with some narration, and everyone but Saralinda had to be reminded of her lines...
i'm just sooo proud...yep...that's my daughter, quiet as her mom!!! The others were fed their lines, and when it was Saralinda's turn, she grabbed the mike from the other girl and said very loudly her lines!!! Everyone laughed, but I still was kinda impressed that she remembered them. Oh well....maybe I can do it next year.
HO HO HO!!!!
