good morning all,

we had fun last night at dinner, the food was ok i guess, we went to a place called bonefish grill, we had more fun when we went to the bar were my brother bartender :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 . we got home around 11:30 our time, and the kids were sound asleep then as soon as i turned on the t.v. my little guy woke and did not go back to sleep until 4 am , and by the time we got to sleep it was 5 am, and the little guy woke up at 8:45, so we did not get much sleep, then linda had to go to work, so i am waiting for Sean Patrick to sleep so Daddy can take a nap also cause i am so tired.

i really wish i could :teleport: to stateroom 6558 right now whose with me....

:Pinkbounc ME ME ME :Pinkbounc

I would be happy to :teleport: to the Roy or Walt Suites!!!

Let's see....DS wants to be a aerospace engineer, maybe I can have him begin to think about inventing sumthin that could help us!!!

Someone please save me from the messy pit we call our house :scared1: .

I hate I hate I hate cleaning !

1 DD with every toy made + 1 Pack Rat hubby = 1 messy house

Sorry Luckey.......

I do believe that we have all thought that at one point or another :earseek:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: (I agree, housework does kinda s*ck)

:thewave:

That is the place where I REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoy the different martinis. In fact I don't particularly remember much from coming home from there on Thursday night. I love the Bonefish Grill.

Now as for the housework comment...sounds like my house. Too small, too many "things" around, and sloppy packrats. Not a good combination. If I ever get things straight and organized I'll get my tree up (BAH HUMBUG!!)

Ok - I was just told I cannot access this page and I needed to sign in....that has not happened since...um...never.

RJ - you are scaring me. A dresser!? Cutting wax paper for caramels!? Martha's got nothing on you!! Such a go-getter. I like that about you! :lovestruc

Chris - you need to conference with Neil next time he is in San Diego. Apparently if you tell someone they are an "little dot" (mommy speak for idiot) long enough...you can actually get them to quit!! I know that does not help you with your desire to get fired...but may alleviate some of the stress around the office.? Worked for Neil....

Cheri - ah yes, time is critical in scrapbooking. I believe Ryan is actually home from the hospital right now. 2004 is done and 2005..well I'm up to July. Honeymoon album is finished but we got married in, um, 1995 - the rest.... In bins in the closet. According to my 2005 albums we were in one of two places this year...the ranch or Disney. Now...if we could just cut down on the ranch and up the time at Disney....

Tenor - where are you!? :confused3

Luckey - I too must agree with the house thing. Ryan has been helping to decorate for Christmas. New kitten....enough said. Neil is putting lights on the tree right now. Well currently he is on the phone with his mother. So perhaps he will finish when he returns from St. Louis. That woman can ramble!

Went to holiday party.....two words

POMEGRANATE MARTINI!!

Hey y'all,

I'm back. DD had a Christmas program all last week and since it was her senior year and she's done this every year, I wanted to be there to help her and her friends. Now it's over and we can get some sleep!

Hmmm,

I have never had a martini. But I did have a awesome Cranberry Margarita last week!! :drinking1

:wave2: Hi Pam

:crazy2: Today being Monday......that makes it "my clean the house day"

....... :rotfl2: if I go shopping instead, will the house elves come and clean it fer me??

:(

Man, foggy day schedule sure does screw up my mornings. I keep lookin' out the window....me no see much fog! Why does the school keep calling them <talks to self> thats because the fog in the country is much worse RJ

Anyone else have trouble gettin' stuff done when their kids are home?? :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl2: (cleaning around the kids...not quite as good) oh well, may have to do :rolleyes1

Luckey: about yer house cleaning....you can always use the 6 month rule! If ya' haven't used it in 6 months; throw it away or donate it! Trying to abide by that one myself :)

morning...well...afternoon..

me no feel good today...Gonna go shoot me a Dr. who said "after the surgery, you will be free from pain"...bast....opps..forgot which board I was on!

anyway...very cool here today..mid 60's and suppose to drop into the low 40's tonight...I really miss my fireplace!

anywho..Rick is teaching today so it's me and the dog, sleeping, eating and pooping ( the dog, not me!)

happy mon-es-day!

I personally would have no problem with that rule, it's my pack rat family that can't handle it ! I'm trying to break Cassie of it now because she inherited the Vasquez hording gene. You could shovel the entire contents of the house and put it on the curb and it wouldn't fase me, it just means I get to go shopping !!!

wow...where is everyone??

I am making Le Cellier's Chedder Cheese soup for dinner tonight...it sounded good with the cold weather..YUM!

Yummy!!! RJ's 'sgetti sounds good too. Wish my kids like the same things (except to pizza and McD's)

luckey, I cleaned out Cassie's "toy box" while she was at a friend's. One and a half trash bags! Yea me! But she came home and said, "hey where's all my stuff?" She actually believed me when I told her, "it just looks like there is less when it's all organized." Ah the ignorance of youth.

Now ... the Pomegranate Martini ..... me want one ...sounds yummy.

GOOD EVENING PEEPS!!!!!!!

well....yesterday's Cowboy game was just WACK!!!!....craziest game..still can't believe we won.....I think I screamed and yelled more at that game than any others lately....was kinda cathartic in a way though.....kinda a stress reliver....got to scream...no one cared...

Sink in kitchen el backo uped-o....have American Home Shield...but they won't come until THURSDAY!!!! :earseek: pirate: ...so I can call my own plumber and pay $2-300...or I can wait until Thursday and pay $35 :smooth: ...anyhoo...got me outta cooking dinnah...don't wanna mess up a whole bunch of dishes I can't wash. New Chinese place opened up down the street..went there.

Am trying out new punishment fer the Pookster....it's called the consequence bag.....It is filled with stuff like..."no library this week"..."no play date this week"...."no candy/snacks/etc" today"...."no TV today"...."go to bed 30 min early"...."go to bed 60 min early"....well...you get the idea...you's guy's are bright peeps!!!!....Ifin she is naughty, instead of just a time out (which she doesn't seem to care too much about anymore)...she has to pick something out of the naughty bag....that way instead of saying..."gotta go to my room...big deal"...she DOESN'T know what it might be...don't know ifin it will work, but feeling a little crazed lately. And for those of you who think..."well...there is that little thing called spanking"....hear ya...but I have a few of my own issues with that, and my dad would...well...nevermind, let's just leave it as I have some issues with that. Also takes some of the pressure offa me so that I don't over-react and have the punishment not fit the crime...not that she still won't get the occasional time out - this is mostly for smaller infractions...but, we'll see how it goes. If anyone has any other great ideas, I'm all ears. Every kid has that one thing that they really love, and with Saralinda, it's all about the candy and the snackage!! I think losing her snacks after dinner makes her sadder than a time out. Maybe I should add "no slurpee" to the bag too...she loves them as well. I am happy to report though that I have broken her of that running to room and slamming the door bit :cool1: ..homey don't play that.....that one was getting on my very last nerve....

Tim finally put some lights up in the living room anyway...don't think he will do them outside this year. I think Saralinda kinda shamed him into doing the one's in the house. Did the old puppy dog look..."daddy....why can't we have some christmas in the house....why can't we have any lights like last year...why can't we...."..He looks at me!!! I'm thinking (but didn't say it)...Don't look at me....I didn't tell her to say that. She's a kid...she wants her lights!!! Anyhoo...he did put them up.

Mailed Tim's Secret Santa present today....and mailed mine last week...mine is supposed to arrive for the person sometime between Tues-Wed...and Tim's they said should get there on Thursday (but is not guaranteed at this point they said).

I am the pack rat of the family, and Saralinda has inherited that I am afraid....I can't stand to get rid of stuff..I blame my dad....yet another one of those issues with my dad I am afraid, but I will spare you all the details.....I don't care ifin I haven't used it for 2 years...if it has sentimental value....or ifin it was my mom's......although I will have bouts where I will go in and just throw a whole bunch of stuff away. I mean don't get me wrong, I am not like that poor woman I saw on Oprah a couple of years ago, where she LITERALLY wouldn't throw ANYTHING away...she had stuff all up and down all her halls....she would wash the trays the food was in from the TV dinners and keep them.....UGGGHHH!!! Not that bad....but packrat...yes, I am.

Still have not done the dang blasted cards!!!!..oh well....as Scarlett always say's...

Tomorrow is Another Day

Wow - when the Tenor gets started!!

That is most you have said in weeks! So good to have you back!! :Pinkbounc

Neil is off to, no wait scratch that, all checked in in Chicago. DD and I were burning up the little plastic card at Pier 1 and World Market earlier. So much fun. :Pinkbounc Just played "ornament store" with Ryan and now I am hiding in the office talking with y'all. Except nobody else is here, so I am, in effect, hiding from my child, talking to myself.

I think I need help.....
