Ok, Chris - category 3 (8102 to be exact), July 2005, California.

Hmmmm.... I am guessing $9,800.00?? On-board bill, another $3,700.00?

As for your carry-on wine, Beano gots no idea.

So how'd I do?

COWS!!!!! Of course..I mean, I like a good rare steak or carpachico, but the cow...flying like...well, Flying Cows!
I think we're gonna plan to stay an extra day in Florida so that we can visit Betsy at the Trembling Hills Institute For The Very, Very Nervous.

Hello? Security. We got ourselves a Code 9 down here on the ward. Please scramble the X-Team. STAT!!!

Don't worry, %, this will only pinch for a minute and you'll feel calmer. :rotfl2:

Hey Barb....

Who is that a picture of on your siggie????

Betsy, you eat Carpaccio?

Remind me to give you a business card when I see you. ;)

Raw meat = BAD.

(Right Beano, but beer is good for you?) :rotfl2:

This is getting scary. I am starting to be reminded of Pink Floyd.

"Hello, is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone home?"

Then again, "Comfortably Numb" could be a very appropriate theme for this cruise!! :cool2:

You're a couple of grand short on the room (including trip insurance, though). You're about $800 short on the on-board (we threw the on-board party since you weren't there). And that wine you saw in that picture a hundred pages back or so was about $500.

That adds up to..... why the DCL is so profitable. The only good thing on the West Coast cruise was we didn't have to buy airline tickets like we did for this cruise. Normally that wouldn't be too bad to Florida, 'ceptin' that Cheri no do coach seating, so it's first class all the way, baby!!

Chris, no kiddin' huh? 12 grand for cat.3??

That should be a felony.

Chris, you guys flyin' 1st class to Florida this time?

I was hoping to upgrade us to that, but can't seem to get any info out of American Airlines... prolly cost 2 grand a piece anyway. I can just buy a couple more beers for 10 bucks and fall asleep in coach instead!

All right you crazy folks, have a good time tonight. I am going to play some poker with some retired folks. They tell funny stories and are senile so its a good time. TTYL....

I know. But as you said, the prices for the West Coast cruises were off the charts. We're in a Cat 3 this time, and it was FAR less expensive.

On the other hand, I'm guessing 8102 (and 8602) fetch a premium for a Cat 3 considering the verandas on those two are twice as big as any other on the ship, including the Walt/Roy suites. Dang, you could land a helicopter on those things and not spill your beer. At one point during the on-board party, we must've had 20 people out there, and there was tons of room to spare!!

'Course, you knew that cuz you're da Beano.

Well, I'm off to a Happy Hour with all the people that work for me. I'd like to think they want me to come cuz they like me, but I think it has more to do with the fact that I usually have my corporate Amex on me.

Later on dudes and dudettes.

Yes Chris, I remember it well. 8102 (0r 8602) is THE nicest verandah on the ship.
The Walt Suite verandah sucks, but the room itself is... roomy.

We'll just have to make do. :earsboy:

We always do, cuz like I said, Cheri no do coachy!! She's fragile!! princess:

It's not too bad because I fly about 100K miles a year on American, so I have a gazillion miles to go along with my Super Executive Platinum Overlord Poo-Bah status in their milage plan.

Tell ya what, how 'bout we switch suites for the cruise, and in exchange I'll give you the miles you need to upgrade your flights!!! Oh, and to sweeten the deal, I'll buy you AND RonnieJo a sail-away drink. WHADDYA SAY, PAL??!!??

Oh, so it's "pal" now, huh? :teeth:

Let me consider this proposition. Ok, done thinkin'.

NO. :rotfl2:

Chris - you were on the Western the day Fran and Dave got off...

Sorry, I had to control myself cause the patio installer was here for $...There goes the bling-bling budget...but it is worth it to have a screen patio room over looking the lake!

back to the loony bin

Is it just some random picture or what?? :rotfl2:

Yep. I typed in insane on google images one day and that's what came up. :rotfl2: I was using it to taunt my sister a while back. :rotfl: The woman in the pic looks just like my Mother. :rotfl2:

Edited to add that my mother is NOT insane, but just looks that way sometimes when she's mad at my sister and I. :rotfl2:

Someone is gonna be sweepin' outside wif the coyotes if he doesn't stop making Cheri look like a stuck up snob. Fess up and tell the nice people that the total cost for all 4 tickets was $40! (big meany! - insert smilie of Cheri sticking tongue out)
