well, i guess we all will have to keep our eyes and ears peeled on the disney updates then...
I am trying right now to book a DCL cruise for march 07 AFTER Hurricane season...I cant do this again LOL

By the lack of enthusiasm on the 22nders thread, I don't think they'd even notice that their cruise got cut short. LOL!

According to the DCL homepage, there haven't been any changes yet.... Guess they're waiting to see what "Wilma" is gonna do.

The 22nd cruise will be in for some changes, that's for sure. They just don't know what! Key West is already out of the question; probably will miss Grand Cayman too. Looks like a 'mystery cruise' to me!

I think we might be the lucky ones... hope so!

We are currently monitoring Hurricane Wilma very closely as it moves through the western Caribbean.

The latest predictions from the National Weather Service indicate the storm will have moved through the region by the end of this week. At this time, we do not anticipate any changes in the October 22, 2005 voyage of the Disney Magic®.

This week's Disney Magic® and Disney Wonder® voyages will not be impacted by the storm.

The safety and security of our guests is always our top priority. If necessary, our Captains are always prepared to alter the ships courses or itinerary to navigate away from inclement weather"

I heard a few minutes ago that many Western Carribbean cruises are changing to Easterns right now. So, the 22nd Cruisers might be going to St. Maarten and St. Thomas, same as us..or Antigua.

I am watching Wilma too. Feel sorry for the 10/22'ers tho - bummer. But I am sure DCL will do what they can.

Hey - read on one of the many tip boards to pack a "shopping bag" as some vendors do not have them, especially street vendors...any feedback? Of course, the bling bling gets worn and bags not needed but otherwise?

They have a total of 62 posts! I think we had more than that yesterday alone!

This is my prediction. The ship will be able to come in on Saturday and will try to get the heck out of there as quickly as possible. They will hightail it out of there and will watch from afar as Hurricane Wilma nicks Florida. Once past Florida, Wilma will then start to head up the east coast losing strength. It then gets swept out to sea in the jet stream somewhere along the Virginia coast. Since all of the energy has been sapped from the Atlantic from Wilma, we have clear sailing for our cruise.

Beans: Regarding the Wonder Cruz you wuz talkin bout: Didn't someone else say before that they have made up another special thread somewhere else and most everyone posts on that, or maybe it's the 22nders, and that is why the thread count is so low??? Ohhhh....gotta hate those low thread counts...there jest no good...wanna good nites restie poo you gotta have those sheets with them thar high thread counts......I hope those guys are sleepin okay on those low thread count ones....

Okay, here I sit and wonder how, oh how, can I get my house all clean and tidy and put together for this party on Saturday, and still sit here like a lump and talk to you Peeps???? Anyone.....BUELLER????? Not doing too bad, I really have 6 main areas I need done before sat....Saralinda's room/bathroom, the guest bathroom in the hall, living room, dining room (currently have 7 kids and 6 chairs hmmmmm), kitchen, and Saralotta's playroom. I figger I do 2 rooms a day today thru Friday, and I do have help coming on Friday....oh, who am I kidding??? It's gonna be a disaster....there goes my mother of the year award.

Thanks. I think that we will be okay...No worries here. It should be a little windy and rainy for a few days but that is about it. Should be long gone by the time you folks come.
