And yes! Journey! I saw them in concert like 15 times. LOL
Steve Perry is from the Valley here, so they'd play here all the time.
I was even at the "US Festival" in 1983 - saw Ozzy, Quiet Riot , Triumph, Scorpions and Van Halen all in one day. And lived to tell about it.

I calmed down and turned into a country hick in my later years.

Anyway, yes I was tired last night. Beano need mucho sleepo! But I am wide awake this morning, having coffee even though I am not 'bosed to.

Folks, must give props to Tim here - he knows more about 80's music than any other 20-something I know! I am still the expert though. RJ Will tell ya.

Well I gotta go to work for a while, then maybe watch a little football, and try to watch everything we have on the Tivo's so they're empty before vacation!

All is going great. Unfortunatly, I used more vacation days than planned for Kathy's surgery but still had enough to do the 4 day that leaves the day after y'all. Much quieter group on that one, it seems! I mentioned beer and the room got quiet - I'm scared but ready to have a great time - got to fit 7 days of drinking into 4 to make that mug pay off!

We will be at the port, either at Grills or Jetty Park to wave you on your way so be looking for us and have a few for us as well . Hopefully, next year will work out for me to sleep it off under the piano.

Well my class year is all confused... when I started school I was class of '83. Then I moved ahead and was supposed to be class of '82, but by the fall of '80 I moved up to class of '81. It peeved my older brother because he was the class of '81 and I graduated above him.

Hey all! Great thread. I am brand new here, but my wife and I are first time cruisers on the October 29- Novenmber 5 Eastern Cruise on Magic. We are so excited we can't contain ourselves. We are going with a group of friends and it's gonna be a blast. 11 DAYS UNTIL WE DEPART FOR FLORIDA!! We are staying at the Hyatt at Orlando airport on Friday then it's off to the Port on Saturday morning. WOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will be in stateroom #7000. We wanted a verandah but we are right next door to our traveling friends(7002) so I guess we'll be satisfied with the window for our first time.I want to wish anyone else on this trip a great time and maybe we'll bump into each other somewhere "out there".

Yikes,.....I know it is still hurricane season but I honestly did not expect this, this late in the season.

We arrived in Disney last year during Ivan and left about 5 hours before they closed MCO on the day Jean arrived..... Think good thoughts. It is still too early to say for sure where it is going. DH and I are amateur medioral....(sp)....weather freaks.....
