**October 28 2009, 180 Day Reservation Thread**

I was able to get mine this morning. Yippie. DD will very excitied. I had better luck this morning with reservations than yesterday

Whew... after 2 days I finally have all of my ADRs!
I got these yesterday:
3/21 - 5:55 pm Flying Fish Cafe
3/22 - 7:45 pm Artist Point
3/23 - 6:50 pm Boma
3/24 - 12:35 pm Hollywood Brown Derby
7:35 pm California Grill
3/25 - 7:25 pm Le Cellier
3/26 - 12:45 pm Coral Reef
7:35 pm Narcossees
And I just got these a few minutes ago:
3/22 - 9:10 am CRT
3/23 - 12:00 pm Yak & Yetti (had to go not through the dining plan)
3/25 - 12:00 pm Les Chefs de France
Now it's time to relax! Too bad I have a root canal scheduled in 4 hours :rotfl:

I called back today to get CRT and when I asked Shonna, my CM if she worked yesterday, she laughed. I guess she's glad yesterday is over with now. She was super nice today, though and I got my reservation. I told her I had a huge smile on my face and she asked me if it was a "Mickey" smile. I told her it was, of course!

I got the "rolling out the new system" message as well, but thanks to the suggestions here, I cleared out my cookies and was able to make our reservations. The only one I couldn't get at a decent time was Sci-Fi Diner. Here's what I got:

4/11 - Ohana
4/12 - Crystal Palace
4/13 - Sci-Fi Diner (will probably cancel)
4/13 - Chef Mickey's
4/14 - 1900 Park Fare
4/15 - Boma

Yesterday there was no MBYBBQ and today when I called It was available as was CRT . How happy am I.

I quess we need to keep calling to tweak our reservations up until the very end. We shall not give up hope those CRT ADR's might become availble right up until the very last Day!!!!

I do think that reading these boards just sort of encourages that kind of overreaction. While it's a great way to keep yourself informed, it's easy to believe that if you don't book EXACTLY when your time frame for ADR's opens that you'll have no place to eat but CS for your entire vacation.

Absolutely agree!

BTW, yesterday evening, I had to laugh at myself because of what I felt I needed to do. I think this was also my response to what happened when they changed it to 90 days during the free dining. I was caught in all that mess and was very upset with Disney that they would change it to 90 days. Since I book my resort at 11 mths in advance, I'm ready to book by ADRs as soon as possible. :)

OOh after all is said and done it was Fun !! we all got to share in some disney magic together ( magic being the right word 'cause thats what you needed to get through.) It added more excitment to the trip.

We all just need to check on the ADR's we REALLY wanted weekly and re adjust. It will all work out. ...I'm almost sure.

Is anyone else not able to pull up online the phone ressies you made yesterday? I have confirmation numbers for all of them but they won't come up. The ones I made online today (tusker house and CRT) come up easily. Should I be worried about this? I don't want to spend all day on the phone again nor do I want to re-do 10 reservations if I don't have to, but I also don't want to show up and be told my confirmation #s are no good!:headache:

EDIT - In case this happens to anyone else - it was a phone number issue. Even though the CM asked me for a phone number and I gave her my cell yesterday, all the reservations reverted to the number I used last time we went to Disney (my husband's cell - he's not coming this time so I used a different number). As soon as I put in the phone reservations with his number they all came up (the online ones were coming up because they were associated with my number). Sorry if that didn't make sense but didn't want to delete my post just in case someone else did the same thing....

I was able to pull up all of the ADRs I made yesterday by phone and the three I made this morning online, CRT, Cali Grill and Le Cellier! :cool1:

Im having an issue with booking MBYBBQ though. My cc wont go through. However, I used the same card this morning to book Cali Grill and CRT. Whats up??

Lindseyry - you may need to call your credit card company. I have one that shuts off really easily - and making multiple payments/guarantees in Florida would set it off. (In fact, when we were there in July I couldn't use it at the liquor store because I forgot to call and tell them I would be in Florida all week.) So it may just be a security thing.

I overreacted!! I was in such a tizzy to get all these ADR's done. I was hitting re-dial for 2 hours until I finally got through. I went in online today and changed everything around, even Le Cellier was available for a different time! Oh well, it's done, got everything I wanted so I'm happy.

Got some ADR's on the phone yesterday (after a long and grueling effort...). Got the rest of my ADR's this morning online!

I was a little nervous about the telephone ADR's because of the constant system crashing, so this morning I retrieved all of my ADR's online and sent them to my email. Now I'm content and very happy!

When you book CRT do they CHARGE your CC right away for the whole amount, or is it just a hold for them and you can pay other means when you dine??

I'm not a big fan of the 180 days. We may or may not take a trip down in March, just depends on how things work out. So I don't even know for sure if I'm going but I got online today and made dining ressies. No problems at all. Booked LeCellier, Ohana, and Crystal Palace. It just dawned on me yesterday that I have four weeks to start planning our ADR's for our trip in May.

Does anyone know if Disney is going to post park hours six months ahead like they were doing before?

Yea! i was able to get back online, and got 2 more ressies -
3/13 12:25 pm 50's Prime Time
3/10 11:10 am Chef Mickeys

Think i am done now... although, i find it like an obsession.. LOL

It happens both ways.

If on a dining plan, AND you have "linked" your resort package (successfully), they will take your CC# and not charge it. This is a hold in case you don't show up. If you don't show up, it will then be charged for that amount (outside of following the proper cancellation policy/procedure)

If NOT on a dining plan, OR you have not linked your resort package (successfully), they will charge your CC at the time of booking.

In either case, when you get there, you can alter the method of payment if you wish. If you already paid at booking and want to use plan credits, they will refund your card. If you are on the plan and want to pay out of pocket, they will either take your card or your KTTW card as payment.

(We had previously done the 2nd version of this for our last trip. We were on DDP and didn't pay at booking, but I paid OOP and they took the KTTW card as payment for a room charge. There were an awful lot of abbreviations in that last sentence...)

If my trip would have been during Pres. Week, Easter Week or heavy spring break I would have been more worked up. If I had been trying for CRT, CM or Le Cellier I would have been worried. I did follow this thread closely yesterday afternoon and kept refreshing the online page but I never tried to call.

I've been sick and had lost my voice and been coughing! So being on the phone as long as some of you had to be would not have worked for me at all! :rotfl: Not so funny also yesterday morning was my DH was in a car accident. He was ok and so was the driver who side swiped him but her car totaled and ours heavily damaged (not driveable). Fortunately for us it is a company car so we are not on the hook financially. But it did take several hours of accident reports, towing, and getting a replacement car.

So that put things in perspective for me a bit. I got up this morning and made my ADR's on line around 9am no problem, got everything just as I wanted!

To those who got so upset... don't beat yourselves up over it. We all get emotional and over react sometimes. :lovestruc

I'm going over Easter from April 1-April 8. I was concerned yesterday, but
when I called this morning, I was able to get everything I wanted at the
exact times I wanted. And just for those who are worried, here's what
we're doing:
CRT
LeCellier
Teppan Edo
Yak & Yeti
Chef Mickey
Ohana(1 breakfast, 1 dinner)
Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package
Cinderella's Gala Feast
We're staying @ Poly with the 40% off discount & are thrilled to pieces.
BTW - our ressies were all for 6 people, so apparently there is not
a huge crowd issue for Easter yet - at least not in the restaurants.
