I snagged CRT this morning for March 14th request. My father, who is in the early stages of frontal temperal lobe dementia, had one request for this trip: to eat with the princesses at the Castle. I almost cried when I received the confirmation email . . .

I am in the same boat! DD cried herself to sleep last night because we were unable to get CRT for February. I tried all day yesterday and was told that CRT was unavailable because the system crashed and to keep calling back, well around 6 I got through and was told that everything was booked for the dates we wanted. This is the first time I had trouble getting CRT for breakfast. Another thing is DS wants to go too for the first time and I did not even dare tell him because he would go into a autistic meltdown and I was just too mentally exhausted to deal with that last night.

I've been getting this message too and kept wondering if anyone else was getting it. I saw the post about the online system back up and was feeling left out. Tks.

This thread is for discussion starting October 28 of the restaurant reservation switchover while it's in progress, so we don't end up with a bazillion threads on the same subject each day.

Anything about when you called, what you booked, what you couldn't book, how the system functioned, etc. should be posted on this thread, or will be moved to this thread.

I could not get Coral Reef for any time or any day I tried for the first week of May. We think it was not loaded when I called yesterday. The CM said nothing was coming up and I was in my +10 with an arrival day of April 25. I'll try again when the system is working.

Also, I am not using DDP, so that was not the issue.

Anyone check out the dining ressie system online yet today? It says they are rolling out a "new" online system. What the heck happened yesterday!

I finally got through and made my ressies via a DVC CM. Of course now I have had a change in travel plans and need to mess with some of them, was hoping to avoid another 40 minutes on hold!

Maybe the "new" system will be up later?

Yeah!!! I just booked CRT!!!
I could get any day/time I wanted in April.
Now I am second guessing the time I picked, two girls under 3 so I picked 9:30am {staying offsite}
Should I change it to earlier??

keep your current time. you'll be amazed how long it takes to shuffle little ones through the park! maybe you'll have time for a ride before crt!

I was up at 3:30am because my DS have a fever. When I finally got him back to bed I decided to try it out and was able to successfully book CRT online. Got it for lunch on Mar 9 and breakfast on Mar 11.

Well, I am finally done...

After getting done with one CM (I thought) yesterday afternoon, the system crashed as she was finishing and she lost everything. Got back in through Member Services around 5:30 and got all my dining, except for breakfast at CRT on 4/25. The system started to crash as she was doing my Bibbidi reservation, so I gave up up for the night.

Logged on to the online system this morning and got CRT right off the bat and then got Bibbidi for the same morning!!!

I am so happy!!! 40th Birthday Trip Planning is done for now!!!

Can you still log on for CRT? (Maybe it worked, but isn't working anymore?)
