Just for the heck of it I was looking to see how much our stateroom would be if I booked it now. Our category (8B) is sold out, but the closest to it (9D) is twice as much.

Yeah its crazy I've been looking too & ours is basically doubled. However they GTY verandahs being on special & inside & oceanviews still available lead me to believe we might not have a sold out boat.

Just looked at the 2013 prices and am very sad. With prices that high, we will be going on our first and last Disney cruise. I can't believe the prices are so much higher than what we paid for this cruise. Even if we were to get an onboard discount on the cheapest trip available we would still end up paying several hundred dollars more than the cost of this trip.

I think once you see all that the cruise has to offer, you will see it is still a great deal. If you put away 25.00 a week, you would have enough to pay off the cruise by the end of 2012. I know this because we are rebooking a cruise for October 2013. Lol.

I think a dismeet would be fun. In 2009, we did a meet, and had some passerbys or cast member(s) take a group picture. Being it is only a four day cruise, I am not sure what would be the best day or time for everyone. I am open for thoughts. If we did agree on a location / day / time, I would print up reminder sheets for everyone. Input? Ideas?

We just booked this cruise today and our looking forward to surprising our kids with it. This is our 7th Disney Cruise but first on the Dream so we're very exicited. Our last cruise was on the Wonder going through the Panama Canal which was very cool.

Welcome aboard. It will be a great time. I am sure they will get you added to page one roll call. We do have enough gifts for you guys so you will be getting package(s) from us. Are you staying at a hotel near the port Wednesday night or are you just driving in Thursday? See you next week.

I would say probably after the muster drill would be better for everyone, but then some people have early dining, so I am not sure if that would work either. I am all for a meet though. I think it is great to put a face with the name. I still talk to people from my cruise in 2009. When I sailed in 2009, I found some people I used to work with at wal-mart in 2000. Its a small world after all. Oh wait that is a ride in disney world. Lol.

For the Oct30th cruise we had all agreed to the following. We can do the same here too if we want: - (I changed the date)

The Adult meet official:

What: Adult Disers Meet and Greet
When: Embarkation Day - October 27th 2011
Time: 10:00pm
Where: Quiet Cove Adult Pool Area - Deck 11 forward

In case of inclement weather, the meet will be held within the Cove Cafe.
