I'm thinking of telling my kids that they can have two costumes this year -- one for Halloween in the neighborhood and a Disney one for the cruise. My son will most likely choose a pirate -- not sure about my daughter. Probably would be a good idea to plan ahead.

Am I the only one not doing a BTB? I wish we could, but DS would miss too much school. He has the 28th off so will only miss one day. I was going to make him go to school on Thursday, but then we wouldn't get on the ship until after 4pm. I'm still thinking about making him go until 10am, but haven't decided yet. We'll have to wait and see what classes he has in the morning. Port Canaveral is only an hour and a half drive from our house.

Only a 90 minute drive.... I wish it was that close, I would be cruisin' alot more than we are....

We fly from San Jose and we fly the day before so we don't have to take a red eye... For the Dream MV, we got up at 3am PDT to catch the Airport shuttle at 4am to get the plane at 6am PDT which landed in Orlando at 4:30pm EDT and got to our AKL room right around 8pm EDT.. That makes it about 10 hours (but beats the 4-5 day drive).

Mystery Rooms? Please explain.

These are the large square rooms forward on decks 5 & 6, we have seen photos of 5020 and 5022, love these rooms (no split baths). And 1 photo of 6514, which has a large pole in the middle of the room, not so safe in the middle of the night . All of the square Cat 8A rooms have two large portholes. Since they are not standard size rooms they are custom constructed and don't follow the standard room lay out.

When the Dream deck plans were announced, it show several of these rooms as HCP, but now on the most recent deck plans just 6014 is deemed ADA acceptable.

I would welcome visits to the room. just call before, lol. #76014, I think that is the right method for calling a stateroom. On the round tubs, I know our room won't have one and 5022 and 5020 are single baths, so they don't either. I think the round tub is part of the pre-constructed rooms, that were "slid" into the ship.
