**October 27 2009, 180 Day Reservation Thread**

I was also told the same thing by DVC just a minute ago. She said CM's at the 407-WDW-DINE number couldn't make reservations either. BUT.....I did call and make a reservation for our December trip last night about 9pm, so I'm not sure I believe here that the system's been down since last night.

I guess the only good thing about the system being down is no one is making reservations, so maybe there will still be openings at our choices!

I've been calling from work all morning to try to line something up for my daughter's birthday on April 5th. Of course that's Easter Monday, so I know nobody else would
be looking for a reservation then!

After 1 hour of internet failure and 1 hour of photo re-dialing... and then 30 minutes of holiding... I JUST SPENT AN HOURRRRRR setting everything up and their system crashed. They lost alllllllllllll of my reservations before they could actually book them. Their resolution... call back in 3 hours and see if its back up. I am sooooo angry. He said their system is seriously crashing right now.

Only about 5 min on hold..but took a long time with my CM to get all the ressies thru...

I was on hold for 30 minutes then another 30 min with the CM whose system kept crashing she transferred me over to another CM who told me the system is down.

After many unsuccessful attempts at booking online ( I was up checking throughout the night-logged in at 6:00 am-No luck, Called at 7:00 -busy-called right back and they stated the wait time would be four minutes about thirty minutes later I was able to speak with a cast member and book all of the ADRS that I wanted with the exception of CRT. CM said it hasn't been loaded yet,possible that it will be either this afternoon or tomorrow-told to call back for that one. So I was done just before 8:00am. I was able to get Chef Mickey's,LeCellier, BBB, Pirate League,Prime Time, Garden Grill, Crystal Palcae, Cape May, Hollywood & VIne, Captains Grill,Crystal Palace,MBYBBQ and Tusker House at the times I requested. Boy, I'm glad that's over! If it wasn't for the fact that I have extra credits due to the deluxe plan I would't even bother with CRT. I'm a planner but this was exhausting. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE I HOPE YOU GET ALL OF YOUR ADRS!

Did anyone get through yet??? I want to cry

After getting up at 2am (cst) no online for 180 days, getting back up at 5am with no online service, I started calling about 5:45 am and FINALLY was connected at 7:23am (I had 2 phones going at one time and on my cell alone I called over 100 times) I did have to stop for about 15min to get my kids off(kept pushing redial on one phone for most of the process) I was on hold for about 30min then made all my ressie! Got everything I wanted not the actual date or time but all restuarants!

I was just thinking the same thing. I don't wish bad luck on anyone but since I can't call from the plane, I guess it is okay for me that reservations aren't working right now. I may still have a chance at the ones I want for March when I'm back on the ground and can call Disney!

Told me the same thing but were able to actually book a few for me before the system crashed.

Still have to call back, now for the 3rd time, but got almost everything so far.

Called Disney this morning took a hour and half of restaurants were not loaded yet.

Called DVC at 9 and got a few more.

Oh well, 3 times a charm.

Well this just takes the cake!!!!! Been redialling sine 6:55am with no luck then at 9am called dvc only to have to redial them as well. Finally get through to dvc only to be told that they can not make dining ressies now because the whole system is down! I am so pissed!!!!!! So now I'm back to redialling Disney dining. Disney has had a really bad customer service year between the deaths, crashes, and the bomb scare, I think this will be my last trip to Disney for a very long time!!!!

I've been following this thread all morning, since 5:45 am.....as I've refreshed the dining page (until it crashed), dialed, redialed, checked the number and dialed again, gave up and called Member Services at 9....got someone within 3 minutes....to be told the same thing. Who needs to eat, anyway....
