Thanks Babs!! I need all the luck I can get! I got all of Noah's presents wrapped, all the other holiday stuff done. I'm sure I'll think of something later but for right now I think I'm ready as ready can be for Tuesday morning!

What was I thinking? I have this little monster sitting next to me trying to "make a deal" about which present he can open tonight. OH MY GOSH, why did I put the presents under the tree so early? These are his "momma" presents, so there aren't that many under the there but he WON'T STOP!! What did I do? Any suggestions?

Do like I do, tell him that if he doesn't stop you're going to take them back and buy yourself something with all the money you spent . That always helps for a day or 2!

quick report - shuttle launch on Saturday night, i slept through it, really sad about that. great DIS meets all week, mini and large. server team was awesome! saved $800 by dropping to cat 12 (got a bump back to 11 next day.) the kids were awesome.
began the week with staff serving everywhere, thursday we had no illness on board, we began self service all over the ship.

Rosie's team won 9-2 yesterday but she got herself arrested for trying to steel the pitch by attaching half of the fields mud to her person....mum was sooooo pleased....

PJ Great to have you back dear and chuffed to bits you had a great time but a bummer about the shuttle does anyone on here have any say as to when the shuttle launches are as we'd love to see one ,i know,i know wishful thinking on my part....

PJ How did you fight off the advances of LADY LUCIFER on deck 4,did you just avoid deck 4 or did you wear the garlic cloves and cross i sent you?... you see Ive been reading all these rumours of cruises in Alaska hawaii and Asia in 2008 and i just KNOW hazel aint strong enough to "just say no!!" so either i have to take away her credit card or i have to take bloody Nancy reagan on my jollies......

Gent, it is very warm here in southern Ontario, doesn't at all feel like Christmas. So what is footies? I get the feeling it is soccer....yikes football...but not sure.

Ahhhh, a "me" day. Didn't tell DW I took today off until Saturday. So, I've only been told 3-4 things I "have" to get done today. But, my plans are to venture forth shortly to complete my Christmas shopping. Route mapped out to arrive at openings, maximize right turns, and be home by lunch.

It feels really weird to be here so late on a Monday. Ethan is recovering nicely from the flu. If you or your kids feel feverish and headache, go immediately to the doctor and ask for a flu test. If you get on Tamiflu it WILL shorten the duration. Ethan started showing symptoms Friday and I got the Tamiflu Saturday and he hasn't had a fever since Sunday morning. He'll be going back to school tomorrow if all goes well. That is an incredibly short flu duration!

I'm so looking forward to this cruise! I'm motivated to get off my **** and plan to start this afternoon on my search for the holy grail of hotness!

I'll be checking in more than usual today since I'm home and don't watch soap operas!

Hi Paula, glad to hear Ethan is on the mend. My DD is home sick today maybe a touch of the flu, she babysat Friday night for a little girl who was quite sick and yesterday and today she has been icky as she called it. She could have been coming down with it prior as there is so much going around but just been icky yesterday and today.

I am so excited just wish I knew for sure if DH and DS where coming, you would think it would be easier traveling when they are older but it is so much harder. We keep saying we will just leave them home alone and DH and I will go. Unfortunatley they will only be 18 and 15 and I am a overprotective parent.....lol

I check in many times through the day, I am conntected to the internet all day so pop in all the time.

Thanks Kim for the pirate book! Ethan's poor bloodshot, droopy, sick eyes lit up when he openend it!

We'd gone shopping and come home to it on the doorstep! He looks like crap but he wants to go to school tomorrow so he can see Polar Express. I talked to his teacher and told her he's insisting on going and he's been fever free for over a day. She said send him on and she'll call me if he looks like he can't take it anymore.
