October 27, 2007 - Cruising around the Moon - A Magical All Hallows Eve Part 3

For those who want a Fish Extender but didn't order one from me, I will have extras. Not a lot, but a few. And a couple of our moonie cruisers have requested a choice, meaning the one they don't pick gets added to the extras available too. If you're interested in one of the extras, PM me if you want a price, or just wait until our get-together on embarkation day (3 PM, Goofy Pool area) -- I'll be the one with the bag full of Fish Extenders :) (Or, we're in # 6634 -- just come knocking :) )

I can't wait for you to see the Fish Extenders ..... I think they're so spiffy :)
I would love one please I'll PM you

I start the stateroom number and try and keep it up to date
any one want to share

My kids are in group 1 & 2 and are old enough to go without me (TG!). I'll do the sports deck :yay: (at least it will be in the sun) and after all the groups come by I'll meet in Diversions.

I've got some goody bag stuff too. Have we decided to pre-bag and then let them choose, or put everything together at Diversions?

I think this is sooo soooo sweet!!!!
I thought it was pretty sweet too Lynn as he has never taken any interest in posting before. He reads sometimes but never posts.
Awwwwwwwww

Hello Eric! :wave2:

I thought things sounded familiar. 2 groups, both wanting to be the same thing for Halloween.

S&C
I was pretty suspicious as well & he had also said his DW was a big Rick Springfield fan....I was thinking is my twin out there somewhere????

Melanie thank you they are my daughters children. I was getting mad that someone wanted to be the samething. Im going to be Minnie I know their will be alot.::MinnieMo Its hard to compete:laughing: with a 5 yr old
I wondered if anyone else was noticing Babs....I was getting pretty upset thinking someone else was going to steal my costume idea. There could still be another Mary out there I guess...but it would have been weird for it to be another diser on our thread. Silly DH. :rotfl: I bet you will be a very cute ::MinnieMo

I survived DH's Reunion Weekend:banana:
Melanie, AHHH what a sweetie!!!
Pam, glad you survived & had FUN even!!!!!!!!!! I know my DH is a sweetheart. I am a lucky woman.

Hi everyone! We'll be onboard with you as well. Just signed up for the cruise since I'll be between two jobs and will have a few weeks to kill before I start up another stressful job!

I have 5 year-old twins who are so anxious to go on the cruise - their second, but the first was when they were only a year and a half. It's high time we came back! We do DVC at least twice a year on vacations, so this is going to be a nice change. We're pairing this cruise up with one night at MK for MNSVSHP and ending it with a few nights at Vero beach with our DVC points.
Sherri :)
:welcome: Sherri!!!!!!! We have several sets of twins in our group.. How interesting. You will love Vero Beach......so peaceful. See you soon.

Kim-thanks for the hard work and frustration of doing the journals!

PJ-thanks for the brunch plans!

Pam-thanks for the trick or treat!

Did I tell y'all I got my pirate-wench outfit? Oooooh yeah. The shirt can be on or off the shoulders. I had it pulled down off my shoulders and my lovely son said, "MOM! Put those back on your shoulders. Nobody needs to see them!" HAHAHHAAA! I'm still torn between Little Red Riding Hood and a witch for halloween. I already have both of those and will NOT buy another one. Y'all put your 2 cents in please!

Have a fantastic day!!!!pirate:
I second Paula's thank yous for everybody's hard work!!!!!!!!!
Love E's comment about your pirate costume. :lmao:
Do you have a picture of the Red Riding hood. I remember the witch hat & tights being really cute.

Can you post what is on the documents please as we are not getting ours until the day before at AKL
Jackie,
I will answer for epcotisdabomb
I am assuming you want to know what it said about Halloween.
It reads........

"Dear Disney Magic Guest:

Thank you for choosing DCL. We look forward to sailing with you during Halloween & have planned severeal "spooktacular" events that will be taking place onboard the Disney Magic.
During your voyage, we will host themed events & distribute special treats for the kids. Though no required, we encourage Guests of all ages to bring along their costumes for these special events. There will even be a costume contest for our adult guests on one evening with prizes awarded based on the following categories:
Funniest
Best Group
Most Spooky
Most Original
Most Disney
More information on themed party dates, times & locations will be available onboard in the Personal Navigator that will be delivered to your stateroom.
All guests are invited to wear costumes: however, we ask that you choose costumes that are not obstructive or offensive. To avoid any disappointment or delay in your boarding process, we ask that when considering costume options you refrain from bringing toys or props that resemble guns, knives or other related implements, as these items will not be allowed onboard.
Again, we look forward to sailing with you & hope you have a magical cruise.
Sincerely,
The Cast & Crew of DCL"

Hope that helps.

Pam,
I am already deserting DH on Monday for the Dis ladies brunch.....so I am not going to officially sign up to help with the trick or treat, but we might still show up in Diversions to see how it all turns out. What time do you expect them to make it there.

And.........when do you want me to get my treat bags to you so you will have them in plenty of time to decide where you want to use them????????

Just so I get it, I drop my goodies at diversions, grab my clues and head to my location, correct? Are they all starting at the one spot, each group in a different spot or will they each have different paths from the same starting point to get to Diversions? I love the concept, but I am one of those people who has to understand everything, lol. In my work evaluation, one of my positive points was that I ask questions that bring about improvements, lol.

I am in rush and didn't check who posted the link for the very clear eastern navs, but THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pj

At work today............

7th LONG DAY IN A ROW>>>>>>>

I was very tired cranky and miserable.............and as i rang soemone out i saw soemthing shiny on the counter...............

i reached out to grab it and to my surprise it was FOR REAL.........a small mickey head confetti................just what i neede to put a smile on my face..............eben though as the day progressed i lost it .it was very small.......it served it purpose to make me smile.............

I have NO IDEA where it came from...........?????????

Was working with a customer on the phone "when are the 24" imacs coming in?" At least two week I say, he ways that he will call me next week to check in, I get to say "oh, you will have to work with one of the floor staff, I will be in Florida." That was my smile for the day, lol. I so get the mickey confetti smile, I have had those too.

Everyone will meet at Diversions ( I still haven't figured out exactly how the treats are getting divided and taken to diversions, but I'll think of something:goodvibes )THEN, the groups will head out, all with DIFFERENT first clues so they will ALL go to the same spots but in a different order. The clue envelopes are marked by group # and the last clue for each group will be the one that takes them to Diversions. I hope that makes sense:headache: :dance3:

Well, as you know from Melanie's post, 'epcotisdabomb' = Eric (aka Disneygrl36's DH). I get on the board and read the posts occassionally, but had never setup a screen name to be able to post. With the cruise getting so close now and the excitement mounting, I had to get on here covertly and yank Melanie's chain a little. :joker: :teeth:

From reading the posts and talking with Melanie about all our DisBoard pals, I think we will have a Supercalifragilistic time and I know we both are looking forward to meeting everyone and cruising Disney style!!!! :woohoo: :cool1:
