This year she will likely wear the same pants but she has a new shirt and other accessories.

Important Notice!

I had been reading some of the documentation provided by DCL and they mentioned that they have Cell Phone Service on board from several networks, and check with the provider for more information.

Anyway, I called Sprint. They said that ships have their own Cell Phone Towers and provide the service; it is considered INTERNATIONAL ROAMING and the supplier sets the rates, although the billing comes from your Cell Phone company.

The rate that is charged is $2.99 per minute for both incoming and outgoing calls!! Sprint also told me that they do not charge a connection fee, which some providers do even for an unanswered incoming call.

However, I was asked the itinerary, and was told that St. Thomas/St. John are considered domestic and if I have a package which includes domestic roaming that would be in my regular package.

However, St. Maarten and Castaway Cay are both considered international and the high international roaming rates will apply. So, except for the time in St Thomas/St John you had better figure that your Cell Phone does not exist.

That is correct about St Thomas/St John being considered domestic. I made some calls from there in July and they weren't seen as any different on my bill. I have Cingular.

We have 50 more days until we leave to go to WDW!!!!

I would like to sign up for the scrapbook swap as well. Is there someplace "official" that I need to do this? I understand we are swapping $20.00 worth of supplies. Correct? Any decision yet on when or where? Thanks!

I will probably also attend the scrapbooking swap, but only as a drinker =-)
J.T. is now 6 1/2 and I only made it to Christmas of his first year in the scrapbooking world and poor Kerry at age 4, I will have to just had her a dvd of digital prints someday =-).

But I am up for socializing and maybe ordering the martini tasting =-)

Ok, can I just celebrate for a moment??

Ok, so I'm driving to work... and then my cell phone rings... As Chris and Paula can tell you... I have the coolest ring tone... it's Mickey himself... running and saying "Hold on, I'm almost there"... (sorry, I digressed for a moment)... then... I answer it and it's one of my staff. "Have you heard?". Ok, I'll bite... heard what???

They start screaming in the phone... (and subsequently my EAR)
"The Merger is off! We aren't going through with it!"

Ok, I must admit... the first reaction was of pure elation. Trying to retrain the underwriters from the other company was NOT going to be pleasant. They didn't want to work for me because I actually expect my people to underwrite and DO THEIR JOB!

So.... it's about 5 minutes later and my Boss calls. She's on vacation so... how nice of her to call and alert me too. She said "Your job just got much more interesting." I thought... hmmmmm... she must mean about how the other company will react to me today (they are on site where I work - it's been a bit uncomfortable)... how nice of her. Yes, I know I've said that twice because I really thought that... until... it HIT me.

She wasn't referring to how the other company would react. She realized that part of my hiring this HUGE staff was with the idea that by October I'd have some talented, trained supervisors to add to my group. OH MY GOSH! No Merger, No supervisors. I have TRIPLED my staff since April. I started with 22, I now have 60 and I'm STILL hiring. I am soooo in trouble... but... I've never failed at anything yet... (well, ok, my marriage failed but I wasn't the one that had intimacy issues) so I WILL do this. I WILL need a vacation... and I WILL require lots of alcohol to relax. I WILL need my DISfriends!!!

Girl, you know you can count on me for alcohol and venting! You will have a great time on vacation b/c you're gonna need it sooooo bad!!!!!!

I received a call from the bracelet company today on my answering machine to call them. They cannot do the lime/white colorfill bracelets for us because our order is less than 100...they couldn't do the white/lime either or any colorfill unless we upped the order to 100 which I didn't want to do because we only have 66 orders. So........ I changed it to the plain lime green bracelets. The cost went down to 2.05 a piece. Sorry about that!!! They didn't tell me yesterday anything about order size. I hope no one is bummed.

We are still trying to figure the date/time out yet. I think we need to vote or something. 20$ worth of supplies & then we will swap.

It's so good to see you guys. Great photos Dizzi, tsoccer5 & twicks. You guys have seen plenty of DH & myself...but I will post another, just because. Our welcome aboard photo from Dec 2006 4 night cruise.
